Alex, Kap, and Jimmy all had their chances and failed. If you are going to hate on one for losing a SB with a stacked defense you should hold them all to the same standards. They all failed when they all only needed one play.

Me? I think all 3 offered this franchise a lot. I'm thankful for all 3 guys and have fond memories of each and every one. I don't understand why parts of this fanbase can't just enjoy the ride. It seems miserable and pointless as to be a fan hating on the position that touches the ball every offensive snap.

Enjoy it I say. There's nothing more in sports that I want than to have one of my sports team win a championship(I was 9 in 1994) but there's plenty of fans that have never even been able to enjoy a playoff win or even appearance for that matter.

Jump pass TD to Boldin in the NFCCG versus an all time great defense. Regardless of how you feel about Kap that's a TD I will always remember as a 49ers fan...

That coach wouldn't even give him a chance to play for him. I trust his opinion on the matter. Not going to rehash the obvious glaring deficiencies Colin had and never improved on , but given how bad our o line play was last year, and the fact that at the beginning of the year Aiyuk wasn't who he was later , and that our running game was so bad we had to use Deebo as a RB Instead of WR for so much , I dint even see Colin getting us to the playoffs with that team.

Lol Kyle wasn't the only coach to roll with a worse QB than Kap that year, you're hopelessly naive if you truly think all those teams passed on Kap based on football alone.

We had a worse Oline and run game in 2016 and Kap put up respectable numbers that year. I think he'd do pretty damn good with the Oline, weapons and coaching we had last year

Psychology and spirituality have quite a bit of overlap, in my opinion. And you're absolutely onto something. My only point is if you're looking for a 5D existence, then disparaging competitors who give it their all (particularly for your favorite team), would seem to take away from that.
