trade hypotheticals aren't included in the over-under scenario.

just curious.

Still Over unless injury he wont see the field.
AS just said the Rams were going to move around a bunch of money to get him. Hmmm.

I've read and heard on the radio that Jimmy's shoulder isn't completely ready to go. He's still trying to regain full strength. This is why teams were reluctant to make a move. Rehabs are never cut and dried. What is supposed to be 8 weeks often becomes 10 or more.

He's been 100% cleared to practice and play. I don't believe this.

Yup.. and we wonder why JL wouldn't release.. makes sense now.. Rams and SEA were in on JG.. Stafford of course had elbow concerns this offseason. JG played well vs LAR last season.

Yeah, no question. I was wondering why they were willing to pay the 2nd most cap space to him on our team for this year. It wasn't just the base salary but all the incentives they'd have to pay to him from last year if we retained him.

BTW, that narrative we couldn't buy any more FA's because of Jimmy's contract was complete B.S. and blown up. It was a conscious decision just like it was to pay JG $14M as a backup.

We could have just cut him and used that $14M on a starting premier FA. Or bought a few mid-tier FA's. $14M is a lot.

Rams wanting to acquire Jimmy G makes 100% sense for reasons discussed previously but downplayed by some in this thread.
Lol.

I do believe it. He was a little sheepish during his press outing and said at one point 'I'm still having to get used to it' or something similar. Gave me red flags to be honest.

If Jimmy wanted to be a Ram, he could have been. Simply tell the 49ers to take their $6 offer and shove it. Then get released and become a Ram. He likes holding the clipboard for a great QB, and that's why he's back as a 49er

Yeah cause Stafford's elbow sucks but they weren't getting him for nothing so screw that.
