I'm not sure Jones would give up draft picks for Jimmy. He believes the backup ther eis okay and he loves draft picks. I hear that Jimmy stillmisn't able to throw like he was prior to the injury. He's fully cleared but still working his way back.
There will be other injuries as the season progresses and teams will have a better feel for what their playoff chances are by then. It will give Jimmy more time to rehad that shoulder too.

If I'm Dallas I'm.calling. Its waaay tool early to give up with the playoff caliber roster they have. Problem is, how much are they willing to give up?
Thats what I am saying, what they would offer isn't enough value for Jimmy right now. Not trading jimmy for a 3rd when the chances that the 49ers will need him for a few games feels high.

Dak's injury is NOT season ending.
But, let's play it out. Say Dallas trades for Jimmy today. How long until Jimmy sees the field? 3-4 weeks?
Absolutely no reason for Dallas to give up what SF wants for Jimmy, when he'd play only a few games.

Jimmy with his no-trade clause would decline a trade to DAL anyway. Dak gets his job back as soon as he's healthy enough to play.

IF this is true, I sincerely doubt he would be our QB2.
