Really hope the opportunity to trade him for something good comes along here soon so I never have to think about him again.

Jimmy was instrumental in helping beat DAL in the playoffs last season. ignoring that is typical of Jimmy haters.

Jimmy was instrumental in us getting a lead against Dallas, and was instrumental in allowing Dallas to hang around and almost come all the way back.

lol f**k "almosts"

OK, take away the almost.

Jimmy was instrumental in us getting a lead against Dallas, and was instrumental in allowing Dallas to hang around.

Better?

the Niners won. the final scoreboard is the only thing that matters. Jimmy was instrumental in that win. that is the point of my reply and it proves Ezekiel's comment is incorrect.

not sure why you constantly try to put down Jimmy in any positive posts made about him. you are a Jimmy hater thru and thru.

You can't make football judgments by looking at the scoreboard. If you could, we should have signed Joe Flacco and started him the last two seasons.

Context matters. No matter how much fans want to say it doesn't.

Jimmy was 16/25 for 172 yards, 0 TDs and 1 pick. Instrumental is a serious reach.

lol "context". Jimmy performed when he needed to. looking at final stat line doesn't show context. a QB could be "0 for...." for three qtrs but put it together for one drive that takes the lead in a game. that QB would now be instrumental in the win.

Ezekiel claimed Jimmy has never done anything to win a playoff game. that claim is untrue and you can look at the DAL game last postseason as proof.

lol you can count on waterbear and SWH to jump on any post that attempts to put Jimmy in a positive light. it's hilariously try-hardish and super predictable.

Good posts Boast.

I've watched that game several times because FVCK the cowboys lol

I've said the same before. Jimmy played like 3 qtrs of good football that was ultimately good enough to win the game. Playoffs games are no gimmies especially on the road. Cowboys had a good team and the jimmy led niners went in there and took care of business. What if's are only thing cowboy fans are left with, and I guess Jimmy "haters" lol

Nah… you reaching like you always do. Labeling others while you do it. Labeling others and Boast go together like spaghetti and meatball. You, of all posters, shouldn't talk about OTHER PEOPLE'S reputations.

Do you think Jimmy is low-key rooting for Lance to fall flat on his face? I wouldn't blame him.

Not entirely fall flat on his face, but Jimmy's endgame is wanting to be a starter again and a new contract. Weather that's here or else where is to be determined and he being able to play again will show other teams that he's healthy and can play.

I didn't ask my question correctly. This has nothing to do with Jimmy being a starter again, here or anywhere. It has to do with watching Lance fail hard so Jimmy can have the satisfaction of laughing (internally) at what the 49ers did.

I think he gets maybe a slight satisfaction, but thats just me lol.
Trade him to dallas

Jimmy G when lance threw that pick

I do too. Ever been dumped by a girl, then genuinely hope her next boyfriend is better than you are? Nope.

Doubt he's rooting for him to fail. Jimmy is still on the team, and has plenty of friendships in the locker room, to be rooting for their demise. If anything, he probably thinking to himself "be careful what you ask for" regarding all the niner fans that trolled him and wanting off the team during a deep run last year.

Yea but has your Ex ever invited you back to live in the house with the new boyfriend and forces you to watch them have sex? Then politely asks you to teach the new boyfriend all your best moves and leave out the stuff you sucked at?

It's definitely this. Jay Cutler would be the shining example of the other option.

. Definitely a very unique, odd situation in the QB room.
