Man, if they could get a decent O lineman for Jimmy, I think we'd have to listen. Screw draft picks, a good, starting caliber O lineman and I'd be all in.

Maybe the guy turns into something. Maybe not. No question in my mind we win today and go further in the playoffs with Jimmy G. Trey is just not ready.

Thats a very tone deaf statement. Jimmy is mediocre at best. Who else did Shanny have an opportunity coach at QB for the Niners? Nobody that was any good. When your QB is Bobby Hoyer, Yah Jimmy looks fantastic. When your starving, a Saltine is Wagyu beef.

Look at Carson Wentz for example. Dude is much better than Jimmy, we shoulda traded for him a few years back. I know some will disagree but NOBODY wants Jimmy you know that. Teams aren't offering to trade for him because they know he is a stepping stone at best and not all teams have the coach who can mask his inefficiencies.

If you're not willing to give Trey a full season to work out kinks, the team wasted 3 first round picks. I still believe that they may have and will hope I am proven wrong. It's hard to draft QB. Unless they have amazing pedigree, mistakes are often made. I think a solid proven FA can be a better option.

Brett Favre says Jimmy G comes in to start eventually. Because he will have to. If we are struggling. Which seems likely at this point.
