Jimmy in a contract year could make it interesting. You have a hopefully Super Bowl winning QB and a broken QB who at that point hasn't played in like three years, what do you do?

Let him walk and collect your 3rd rd pick

Dude hasn't played in like 3 years by the time he starts. He hasn't shown durability or accuracy. You may have a big problem here. Not sure Lance is the answer.

Agreed, but doesn't change my answer. You don't give up on him already.

Didn't Rogers carry a clipboard his first 3 years and Favre treated him like a douche ?
Jimmy Gesus revenge tour, going to be fun

This. Not enough air yards for his liking I bet. no mention of the rain now either. Surprising….not lol

Why would I comment on the rain when Jimmy played good football?

Because I remember that being a talking point this week for you. I apologize if i
have you confused for someone else.

it's nice to see you give him credit for that game though.

SD, did you notice JG scored some touchdowns and we won the game?

Yup and didn't trade 3 first for him. No chance we give up already.

Hopefully we see the same posters who were loudly proclaiming it's Superbowl or bust in the Trey thread continue to hold Jimmy to that same standard.

Hopefully Jimmy let's it rip more now that he has nothing to lose. He attacked downfield a bunch today (granted didn't hit on anything), but that is a welcomed sight.

We will see.

Jimmy G makes touchdowns and wins games.

We draft Trey because Jimmy is so injury prone that we can't really rely on him to play a full season. Now we're banking on Jimmy because Trey is out for the entire.

You can't make this s**t up.
Toooo early, but at some point, the "generous" (sarcasm) Jed York might have to re-work his contract and pay him more than 6.5 million? (excl the 4 million assuming he starts all remaining games)

Unless Jimmy G.'s shoulder is so much better now, expect him to be the same ol' QB. That means 10 wins (assuming brittle Kittle comes back), and a good show at the playoffs. We'll take it, compared to say 4-13

Hope Mr Irrelevant is ready to play this year

I mean getting rolled up on a zone read isn't a Kyle thing. That's a football thing. Jimmy tearing his ACL running downfield isn't a Kyle thing. Better PP can be a Kyle issue. Overall thought the line was good today

i don't understand why anything bad has to have someone to blame? Sometimes there isn't anyone to blame.

IMO, Kyle is the type of coach who prob works best with a primadonna vet QB who won't stand for his arrogant play calling shanahanigans and considers himself enough on equal footing with Kyle to call him out. Anyone else that can't stand up to him or is inexperienced, seems bound to get hurt…

❌ Jimmy G (2018) prior backup who ended the previous season strong and was gonna be a starting QB1 for the first time: INJURED

❌ Trey Lance (2022) franchise QB for whom the team expended a ton of draft capital, finally QB1: INJURED

TL;DR…I don't think if the team had signed Brady in 2020 he would put up with Kyle's BS…Kyle can't be trusted with new toys

Jimmy no 1st team reps. No playbook in preseason. No gameplan for him. Still wins. Can the haters give him some credit.

In the rain.

That was light rain not a tropical monsoon. Stop embarrassing yourself.

You know by playing his contract is more like 16M now right?
