Selective outrage no one feels bad when Jimmy gets hurt. He played through shoulder injury then got cursed out when he got surgery in the offseason. Trey however has people in their feels

177 days left to prove he can stay healthy.

I think it's less to do with feeling bad about Trey's injury, per se, and more about feeling terrible about how this kid's career has begun.

The ankle injury is tough, but that and the weather in Chicago aside, his career started just fine last year. He sat for a year and got a little play filling in for Jimmy, including a win that kept the playoff hopes alive. That's a fine first season for a rookie who was 21 and having a red shirt year, even with the finger injury.

Lol did you say that when Lance played vs AZ last yr? Damn near the same thing and all I heard was how bad he is.
Either way glad we got Jimmy and can still play competitive football this yr

Having the excitement of starting your career, only to have it blown up by an injury is a pretty bad start. I'm not talking about his play or anything else, other than the let down of having something like this happen. And my opinion would be the same regardless of profession. To have your second year as a professional blown up sucks, in every conceivable way.

The one thing I liked yesterday and I hope he keeps at it- keep going deep. It simply changes how a defense plays you.

Me too. Realistically I think our chances just improved. Not because I don't have faith in Lance, but because thus far I am seeing a leaky O-Line, and think that Jimmy 'quick release' G will cope with that better.

I think this doesn't hurt us too much this season provided Jimmy G can stay healthy and active, but it could potentially hurt us going forward. Lance one less year of development. A big queue of free agent and key extensions to do, and a big cap hit to pay Jimmy's bonuses. Ouch.

He won in green bay in terrible weather.
He definitely could have won in Chicago.

And in Washington DC. I think Jimmie's experience would of really helped the team that day but it's all good. It's over and nothing we can do but look forward to spanking Denver next week.
