This move =

1. Cousins stays in D.C, as it was possibly a trick; Kyle helping a friend get paid.
2. Our scouts don't wanna draft a QB at top 5, or they their guy is gonna stay in college another year.
3. Hoyer and Beathard are not even fit to start an NFL game.
4. Our o-line is not fit to groom a starting rookie QB next year.
5. Shanahan held Garoppolo higher stock over Cousins YEARS ago, this could've all been planned as a Russian roulette scenario given we had higher trade deadline opportunity given our bad record.

He's functional. But not as good as Cousins in that regard. Won't go 20 yards for a TD. He ran a 5.0 40-yard dash. His mobility is all about manipulating the pocket -- where he excels.

He came from an Air Raid offense (4 years ago though), majority of his snaps last year came from shotgun, and our o line is a total mess. Expect to see him taking most of his snaps from shotgun so he has a little extra time before getting smashed.

Oh you mean a competition between 2 dudes that never played on the same team at any point? Nice attempt to throw out random old Niner QBs. Shoulda went with a rick mirer vs Tim rattay or a Tim rattay vs Dorsey....at least they were on the same teams together.

Pretty mobile. Not a running QB but athletic enough to thrive on bootlegs and rollouts as well as being able to pick up yards with his feet if there is an opening.
