Random posted the video in this very thread

Nobody reads random. Could you post it?

Gotta love when facts and reality hurts a propagator so badly.

facts usually require evidence. which is what I was asking about.

Hmmmmm. That's a great point. With Trey's arm, those 1on1 outside the hash mark throws make sense. But Jimmy completed them too. Maybe that gives Kyle some confidence to call those more now?

I feel like Jimmy can make those throws. Its just we see receivers drop them sometimes and then people call it a bad throw by Jimmy. I feel like Jimmy can make that deep throw if he wanted to but maybe he's just hesitant to do it to avoid the "big" mistake which sometimes backfires anyway.

If you listen to Kyle, he seems risk-adverse so I'd imagine that gets ingrained into his QB's. Also, we haven't really had pure deep speed since Marquise Goodwin so maybe now with Gray from the X and Ray-Ray from the slot, we can add a few more safe deeper shots.

Well lets just hope Kyle takes a few chances. With Surtain on Aiyuk most of the night most likely, Kyle should be able to scheme a few open deep shots for Gray, Kittle, or even Deebo.

Just rewatch the game.

Started out very good,....left alot to be desired as the game went on.

Now he's gotten a full week of practice as the starter.

I miss Trey, but we got a good insurance policy in Garop. Trey will be raring to go next year.

I wish I had your optimism. My confidence in Lance living up to expectations is much lower now than it was this time last week. I hope he enters next season intent on winning the starting job had goes out there and leaves no doubt. I don't expect him to be the presumptive starter in 2023, considering the obvious reaction the team had to Jimmy. Lance has to earn the starting job, whether competing with Jimmy (resigning him) or some other FA QB. I doubt Jimmy resigns, because the only way I could justify it would be a SB victory, which then would render Lance's development a secondary priority.

It covers one. But there were others.I don't mind that Jimmy didn't take the shots with the weather and not having the timing but they were there just like they were there in 2021.

it's not a scheme issue. It's a QB letting it rip issue.

or just bump the video showcasing him missing the 2nd half plays 9ers4eva is referring to?

Spray charts with other QBs beg to differ.

okay so the video only covered 1 play. i remember the clip now.

what others did he miss that were there? are you telling me you saw the game film?

I never said he "missed" them necessarily. Said they weren't taken. But they were there. O line, Jimmy, time management. Different reasons why they weren't.

3rd and 8 12:46 to go. Dwelley gets behind the linebacker but Jimmy never looks that way and the pass rush creates a pressure. But the play is absolutely there. I wouldn't be easy to throw but it's there. To suggest Kyle doesn't have those plays there for the QB if he so chooses is ridiculous.

If anything you guys need to show schematically what's being called more conservative then normal. What plays has Kyle scrapped from 2019 when he was calling them? What was different in 2021 from 2019?

Alright I'll do your homework for you.

2nd and 9 I've already highlighted, right? Well how bout the very next play?

Here's the 3rd and 9 that led to the punt. Freeze-framed it for you so you could see just how badly Aiyuk had beaten his man.

Familiar theme: Pre-decided to go with the closer route,...even though the player was short of the sticks anyway.

Again,...Aiyuk is RIGHT THERE for the 1st. Must we really repeat the same thing over and over about Jimmy for you to really believe it happens routinely?

And why are we doing this anyway when our main film guy will tell you that Shanahan didn't want a 1st down throw on 3rd down, abhors Jimmy throwing to Aiyuk in single coverage,....will throw a bunch of play designs and words u dont understand at you, and you'll just going to go for it as always?

yeah, I never made those claims. however I was trying to understand your references

so basically your argument is against the claim being made that, Kyle calls conservatively for Jimmy. essentially, correct?

I assume everyone is just jumping on his words from his most recent pressers with those statements
I can see why he'd make that throw actually. But his footwork and throwing position on the play is just awful.

While he was open that takes a very nice throw and really isn't as terrible as you're making it out to be. He was already in throwing motion as he broke. Pretty petty imo.
