Look at it from the 28 second mark. How is that on Brendel?

Look at where JGs hands are and where the ball is snapped. The snap hits his own butt and JG's top hand. Is JG supposed to use just one hand and palm the ball which is how he attempts to get this one?

Also notice the snap is very slow. The whole line is firing off both sides taking steps and Brendel still has the ball?

Faithful I played center. It does look like the center got it to Jimmy's hands. If I'm Brendel I'm supposed to secure the snap before taking off, he didn't. But also, Jimmy did this with the first snap of last season as well. It's a common theme with him.

Both players deserve blame for that IMO.

That's how I see it too. Brendel is moving forward, Garoppolo is leaning back. Just another day in Ninerland.

The ball hit Jimmy in the palm of his right hand. How long should Brendel sit there and wait for Jimmy to finally complete the exchange? In turn, if Brendel waits too long and gets blown up on the play folks would be on here screaming for him to be benched.

It happens. And usually the play is blown up. But as a center that's better than a turnover.

To be fair, I think it's more Jimmy fault for that fumble and this is the NFL so it's a lot more difficult for the center as there's 340 pound DTs trying to rip your head off. I'm just saying my Oline coach would have called me out for leaving before the football was exchanged.

I say 75% Jimmy 25% Brendel.

I didn't think I've ever seen a player that has been to a Sb and NFCC his only two healthy seasons be literally hated on by a small stringent of entitled fans. It's actually insane with no lol.

Noodle arm turnover machine.

Maybe he can have surgery again and instead of repairing the arm they just give him a bionic arm to throw further

Last week after the game Jimmy said coming in to the game was like riding a bike. This week he says he needs more time to gel with the starters lol 🤡

He wasn't sitting there though. He was moving forward. There's still no excuse no matter how you view the details. No argument here.

Not trying to argue, I promise. I just thought that with a center, he needs to snap the ball and get going in a hurry. The ball hit Jimmy in the palm of his right hand and Jimmy just never secured the snap with his left hand. However one wants to split the blame, it is still credited to the QB. The safety ended up being the bigger issue in how the game ended imo. Hopefully we look better on offense at home against the rams in primetime or the noise will continue to get louder.

Literally Jimmy said that…

what exactly do you think would change had Jimmy had a training camp? This is the same group of players that he's been with for years now. This is the same exact offense he's been learning for 5 years now.

This wasn't an out of the ordinary game for Jimmy. This is who he is. Consistently inconsistent. Good enough to hang on to win. Not good enough to consistently carry a team. Bad enough to single handedly lose you a game.

His 3 biggest flaws on clear display last night. Bad pocket presence, doesn't see field well and is gun shy. Throw in turnover prone.

Dont forget has no legs, panics and makes mistakes and turnover under pressure, never made a pro bowl, choked in SB and chokes most of the time when the game is on the line.

This is probably his last chance as a legit NFL starter.
JUST POUND THE BALL INSTEAD.
