Ironic that two first-ballot HOF QBs both had bad games on the same day.

Not ironic at all. I am so tired of these types of posts, dj. The "every QB makes mistakes" type comments. The "all QBs miss receivers" type comments.

There are a handful of plays every game that can be made that will completely change the landscape of the game. More times than not, Jimmy doesnt hit these plays. Frustrating.

My comment was meant to be parenthetical, not specific to JG.

Yeah I know. But those comments were never afforded to Trey Lance. Those comments come up regularly after Jimmy underperforms. Thats the only time stuff like that is posted.
how can some not know they keep repeating themsevles and not figure it out the real issue

You guys are going to love this. Garoppolo told JLC his arm was sore and fatigued. I noticed it in the Seattle game at the end on the run. Lots of dead arm throws this game.

This isn't an excuse. It's for pure ironical comic relief.

Haha...actually, it's to warn you that this might actually get worse.
i brought that up a while back

29 passes in a 3 hour game, 12 in the second half

time for jimmy to STFU

So you think coming off of surgery with no off season, he shouldn't have any natural fatigue issues?

Makes sense. This isn't Madden. These are real guys and stuff like practice, conditioning, arm fitness, it matters. Why do you think starting pitchers have to build it up all spring training into regular season and if they miss time it's a long ramp up process to build up the arm.

Might be time from some Deebo throws

Warner and Bosa took more accountability for the loss than Jimmy did. Let that sink in for a second. Two players on the defensive side of the ball that gave up 9 points took blame.

The thing that irks me the most is that he took no responsibility for his poor performance in the post game presser. It was a lot of we, we and we instead of I, I and I.

Don't think I've ever heard a "my bad" out of him. Not only is he trash on the field these days, off the field it's cowardly. Instead of chumming it up with various opposing players after the game last night, as he did, winners/leaders shake hands with the opposing qb/hc and head off to the tunnel. And, in the postgame they own up to their mistakes.

Trey gave a clinic in this in his week 1 loss.

I can see why cuz presnap it's a 2 high shell look from the safeties. Post snap look at the safety fly up. Teams don't respect our downfield throw.. cuz KS doesn't dial it up. DEN basically knowing what we are running before the snap. JG reads it correct presnap, safeties are off. He doesn't even try to read it post snap he just throws it.

Maybe give JG the TL gameplan minus the QB run element.

yup

Faith has those jimmy eyes i guess

And yet, Kyle and Lynch wanted him back

The NFL called their bluff then the retained after the river came hoping a team would have a starting QB go down for the year so they could finally trade him. That's not wanting him back as the QB

Could have released him.. they choose not to, so yeah.. they we're ok with bringing him back

As a back up to hopefully trade. Like you get that right? It wasn't their intention to have him taking snaps in week 2. But s**t happened.

Fair point.

he hasn't thrown enough to get fatigued in a game

Lol. That's not how fatigued works in sports. Oh Madden. What have you done to these generations.
I'm here for my crow. I definitely didn't expect his bad of a performance from Jimmy.

To those that have been negative on Jimmy 24/7 for the last week or year. Enjoy this one. Take a victory lap, you guys earned it.

I just hope you don't get too many (if any more) of these this year.

This why I was so surprised when we cut Sudfeld and made Jimmy the backup QB week 1. I stated as such on the boards. Posters were responding like I was the dumb one. It seemed kind of dumb to me then but seems even more stupid to me today.

I don't "love it" because I want to win a Super Bowl. That's never wavered for me.

The only people who really cared about the arm fatigue reports to begin with were the hypocritical and politicized Jimmy fans who were looking for anything to mock Trey because they felt Jimmy wasn't treated well by fans last season.

Any real fan just wants to win.

I legit missed that. Too bad. I would have backed you up on that one.

Jimmy makes just as many excuses as the WZ after a bad game

Oh I know but you don't see the irony of Trey and his arm fatigue and it actually being a real thing with Garoppolo?

Wait until Grant or Schefter see this.
