Yah game managers don't average more than a turnover per game over their career. Alex sure didn't.
never thought i would say this, but i would take Alex at Qb right now

You gove A Smith 6 years of the same coaching and playbook and I am positive he's better. He has more arm strength and didn't turn it over near as much I don't believe.

I came across as an Alex hater for many years.on this forum. I was never a fan but admit there was mitigating circumstances, after he departed

Tough to take some serious when they say s**t like this. I'm sure Waterbear and SWH will be quick to call them out for unreasonable takes like this.

This is closer to a normal Jimmy G game than any 2019 Saints or Cardinals game, is why I wasnt "quick to call out an unreasonable take."

The gatekeeping by some, especially you, is so tiresome.

No, this wasnt a normal Jimmy G game. He was absolutely abysmal in this game. Worst game of his 49er career as far as I am concerned.

So is it wasn't a normal game. I agree it was abysmal performance. Nothing like I've seen before and far from a normal game.

Lmao at "This is closer to a normal Jimmy G game than any 2019 Saints or Cardinals game, is why I wasnt "quick to call out an unreasonable take."

How is his gate keeping? Just calling out ridiculous takes like you often do. Surprised you weren't on top of this one. Well not really and we know why.

See my post #128712

and I think I find myself arguing against the "Trey wouldn't have taken this team to the playoffs" kind of posts because it makes vast assumptions about a player we know very little about. This post didn't stand out to me because it's true he makes those mistakes all the time. Maybe not all together like last night but we've seen it happen. I think it's more unreasonable to make claims about players that you know they couldn't have made a true informed opinion about.

Not you to WB.

Yes he makes mistakes. No one is arguing that. But to say that's a "normal game" for Jimmy is ridiculous. That's exactly what he is saying. The underline is the point. He's doesn't have any games like last night. So it's ridiculous to say it's a "normal game"

You think Jimmy would've started as many games as he has if this was normal for him? You think he has the record he has on his team if hats normal for him? Defense couldn't bail him out last night but you think they've bailed him out to his W/L record "normal game" like that?

Cmon WB you're better than this. It's hard to call out posters like SD when your defending garbage takes like that.

How is his gate keeping? Just calling out ridiculous takes like you often do. Surprised you weren't on top of this one. Well not really and we know why.

I wasnt on top of this, because like I said, I have seen Jimmy make similar mistakes time and time again. Yes, the mistakes happened at a higher frequency last night than ever. But again, these arent abnormal mistakes that we saw. They were standard issues. Just happened to occur much more yesterday.

It's not my job to call out EVERY ridiculous post on here, especially ones like this that arent as ridiculous as you are making it sound.

The poster who called last night a collection of Jimmy's greatest hits is pretty much on point to what actually happened.

Yes he's made mistakes. No one is arguing that. But to say last night games a normal game for Jimmy is ridiculous.

You think he would be starting as many games as he has on this team if that was normal for him?

And you said this is closer to a Jimmy game than his saints and Cardinals game. There's other games you can add to that list. But can't think of a game as bad as this "normal" game by Jimmy?

You couldnt just say yeah I don't agree with that. But you can't help yourself to defend a ridiculous take like that. I'm only pointing it out because it shows where you stand and unbiased is not it.

I cant simply say "yeah I dont agree with it" because its not as simple as that. The poster was clearly frustrated, and CLEARLY exaggerating. But like I said before, the mistakes Jimmy made in this game (aside from stepping out of bounds) are typical Jimmy mistakes. The play we saw yesterday from him isnt new. Its standard Jimmy play. He just happened to have way more mistakes in yesterdays game than he typically does.

You are right. It wasnt a typical game. But there have been PLENTY of losses we have had where Jimmy made a few mistakes that really cost us. Yesterday it wasnt a few mistakes, it was like 10. Either way, we have read this story before.

So take away one thing that stood out as the critical mistake hat most likely lost the game, to make it a "normal game" for Jimmy? Lmao

I guess it's not that normal if you have to do that.

Btw, everything else you wrote just supports what I'm saying that's its not a "normal game" for Jimmy.

I don't even know what your trying to argue right now. It was a ridiculous take and you know it by trying to excuse it with the opening statement.

You can be upset by that terrible performance and still not go ridiculously over board by saying it's normal for that person.

It just highlights how much dislike some have for that QB that anything else they say should be taken with a grain of salt.

Jimmy.. at best a game manager, GTFO, JUST RUN THE BALL 🤣

Nevermind that it's in a probowl instead of a meaningful game. Even then, and with all his accolades, is more embarrassed than Jimmy would ever be.

I said a "game manager AT BEST"... 🤣 most of the time he's a subpar inconsistent garbage why he never made a probowl and don't need to be passing more than 25x a game. JUST RUN THE FING BALL.

I get what you're saying now. At his best - that's all he should be doing. But, unfortunately he can't. Doesn't have the mentality of a game manager or the understanding of the game. Best way I can describe Jimmy is - he's a consistently inconsistent QBs in every single aspect...and that's so damn frustrating. If he just understood his limitations and took the time to understand the playbook - he'd be such a great game manager but he can't/won't. It is what it is.

What on earth are you talking about with the bolded? Stepping out of bounds actually helped us/Jimmy, as he threw a freakin pick 6 on that play.

Look, you came at me for not gatekeeping 49ATTs post. You literally created an argument with me out of the blue. Jimmy played like s**t, made standard Jimmy mistakes, and we watched the same story last night. Since you seem to be on a crusade for me to agree that last night wasnt typical, fine. Last night wasnt a typical game in regards to the frequency in which terrible plays (which do happen every game) happened. You happy now?

You didn't read my previous post I'm guessing. I said I didn't agree with the post and that no one should say this is how Jimmy always plays.
You asked me why I didn't comment on it and I gave you my honest answer. But I agreed that it wasn't accurate.

The reason I give for commenting on SD's posts as opposed to this one is that SD is making claims about Trey's future with no evidence. Where as Jimmy has played a lot of games and made a lot of these same mistakes. But to your point, again, not all at the same time like he did yesterday.

He actually wasn't that bad other than stepping on the back line. His stats weren't that bad. Better than Wilson actually. Kyle said he put him in that position too on the endzone one.

You don't think that 3 turnovers is that bad?

This is why I have him on ignore. Can you imagine if Trey Lance had the game like last night and someone described it as not that bad, or whatever he is claiming? SMFH.

It was a terrible outing. But to call it a "normal game". Or try to defend a take like that is. SMFH
well if your only argument is it's a bad take with no evidence to counter, how can anyone side with you ?

So you truly mean this? It's not out of frustration like SWH is trying to paint it?

You're the one that said it's a normal game for Jimmy.

You want me to prove it by naming all his the rest of his games in which he didn't throw and INT, Fumble a snap, and run out for a safety, all in one game?

If that's the case, I'm naming every other game thats not the broncos game. There that's my proof.

You think jimmy would start as art as many games as he has if this was normal? You think he has a W/L record that he has with "normal games" like this?

You must not think much of Kyle if he keeps trotting out a QB that "normal" games like this.

How about you start arguing with him and not me then. I am not "painting" anything. Jimmy played like s**t. He was the reason we lost. Why do you need to nitpick everything and make things more than they are? Jimmy played awful. Leave it at that maybe?
