Clown alert

Dudes been a clown. Lance must've not wanted to sign his left man boob and has been holding a grudge

They were about the same. Both not awful but neither good enough even to squeak out a win. Both scored 10 pts on a defense worse than ours.

I agree it wasn't close. One guy put the ball in the endzone and had a rating like 30 pts higher. I would agree they both sucked. It's like which poop smelled better. It's a dumb convo.

They both put it in the end zone. Only one ran it out the back of his own.

Or he's looking at our return from three ones in two years which is absolutely bleep all at this point. It just is what it is. I don't call anyone names for telling it how it is.

I have been posting for a year I don't get the Hurts hate. I don't get it. Now he's setting the league on fire and it keeps going.

Let me guess you like Minshew? I had to read for many months that Minshew should be starting for a team and Hurts is a scrub lol.

Your JG takes in this post are not bad.. I don't know what ya'll are looking at when you mention Hurts are we looking at the same guy.

Hurts needs to continue his play against good teams, and consistently. It's like evaluating Trey after only playing the Bears. Or JG after only playing 3/4 of a game versus Seattle. We can have this conversation again in a month or two.

The jury is still out on Lance. He has on year to show it. If he does, he absolutely was worth the trade if he becomes an elite QB.

No he's just a Jimmy G homer. If we traded for Rodgers he would want Jimmy to start. Trey hasn't even really been given a chance yet, He has started 4 games, He is 22 years old. Calling him a bust this early is rediculous.

Who we picked and who the Chiefs picked isnt the point. The situations are almost identical.

The Chiefs thought they maxed out with how far they could go with Alex Smith, and traded two 1st round picks and a 3rd round pick to move up and draft Mahomes.

The 49ers thought they maxed out how far we could go with Jimmy G, and traded two 1st round picks and a 3rd round pick to move up and draft Lance.

You're right.

1st round exits are completely identical to Super Bowl appearances. That's why teams are building their rosters for first round exits.

The condescending reply isnt appreciated. This isnt about how anything turns out. This is about doing the exact same thing, which the poster claimed was not the case.

The situations were exactly the same.

The Chiefs didn't think they could win a Superbowl with Alex Smith, so they made a big move to trade up for Mahomes.

The 49ers didn't think we could win a Superbowl with Jimmy G, so we made a big move to trade up for Lance.

Yes, we were closer to winning one with Jimmy than the Chiefs were with Alex. But how does that matter? Not only were the general circumstances the exact same, but the trade compensation was the exact same too.

Also people are forgetting that Denver has a really good defense.

That said, we lost because WE killed ourselves (mostly with Jimmy's mishaps and the absolutely god awful offensive line play).

We still had a chance to win despite Jimmy's mistakes. The big one though, to me, was the throw to deebo with 3 defenders around him for the int. One of those defenders was k'wuan of course who probably knew Jimmy was going there.

He's never going to change the fact that 95% of the time he decides where he's going presnap with NO backup plan whatsoever, forcing it in there no matter what the defense does. That is one of the main reasons I was excited for Lance, because it would be nice to have a QB who doesn't do that all the time.

IMO if he hits this, we get points and win. There is no excuse for missing this. The ball should've been out before Deebo even breaks. We had momentum and he continually missed the throws when it mattered. I got a lot of s**t last night but the safety was the last of our worries and possibly even saved us a point as Denver would've been in much better FG position with a punt without even snapping the ball. There were waaaay to many mistakes like this. It is it a timing issue seeing how Jimmy hasn't played that much? I think so, but still inexcusable. Again I think this will get cleaned up.

This is not because Jimmy hasn't played that much. He's thrown this ten thousand times. It's just a bad throw.
