It might not have been (or rather, as I said before, usually QBs have the option to start on one side or another). I say that because often times Jimmy will decide where he's going presnap, then LOOK to the other side of the field in order to move a safety or linebacker out of the passing lane he wants to throw to (nothing inherently wrong with that part), and then throw to the WR he intended to pre-snap. The problem is, he's looking but not seeing. Even if the plan was to move a defender, you look that way, you SEE what is happening and you immediately change your plans and throw to Deebo.

Not even close to the same as we traded for. Has never been the same after he blew out a knee.

He was doing a lot of the same things. You see on that inaccurate deep completion to Deebo that would have been a touchdown, but was underthrown? Watch his feet.

Then go watch the Jaguars game from 2017. Watch the deep cross early in the game. Watch his feet.

He has not improved this mechanical flaw in five seasons.

Day 1 no.

Day 540 yes.

Trey Lance week 1 > Jimmy G week 3

Uh no.

Uh yeah. Lance had godawful weather to contend with, and the pass protection was worse. The only INT he threw was a phenomenal play by the defender. He hit several down the field throws, and he got 8 of17 first downs, as opposed to 1 of 10.

And lastly, Jimmy's Total QBR was 14.2. FOURTEEN POINT TWO. Trey's, as bad as it was, was three times better.

The phrase "Jimmy took the 49ers ro the Super Bowl" is a lie, fine, I lied about Jimmy taking us to to the Super Bowl to deceive Steve. You win the argument.

There is no argument. All you're being asked is to stop making up accomplishments that he's never achieved. Just a couple days ago you were saying he played well enough to win a couple Super Bowls,....lol.

Heck...he's never taken us to any Super Bowl to begin with. He did play as a starter in one for us and you can certainly say he helped lead us to the playoffs.

His participation in the playoffs was pretty much absent or abysmal. That's not taking your team anywhere,....that's your team taking you.

Go phish for another line. There's plenty more out there like "he wins" while ignoring his mediocre production and the superb defenses he's been fortunate to play with.

Again,...no it hasn't, Maybe WITHOUT him with another QB in place? You can make an argument for that.

None of this has anything to do with my point.

Now you are digging up old posts and posting them in your replies to fund something else to argue over.

I'm not interested and I doubt anyone else here is interested either.

sounds just like him lol

Old posts? A one week old post is "old?"

Is that your issue? Or is your issue the fact that I'm backing up my claim with further evidence?

You continually come here and try to stretch the truth about the guy. It's not just by chance or an error. It's purposeful.

Don't like it? Stop doing it.
Another day closer

IMO if he hits this, we get points and win. There is no excuse for missing this. The ball should've been out before Deebo even breaks. We had momentum and he continually missed the throws when it mattered. I got a lot of s**t last night but the safety was the last of our worries and possibly even saved us a point as Denver would've been in much better FG position with a punt without even snapping the ball. There were waaaay to many mistakes like this. It is it a timing issue seeing how Jimmy hasn't played that much? I think so, but still inexcusable. Again I think this will get cleaned up.

This is not because Jimmy hasn't played that much. He's thrown this ten thousand times. It's just a bad throw.

Same throw people get mad at Lance for not hitting perfectly. Yet our 8 yr vet can't hit it

Its not just about mental mistakes either, IMO. There's a reason Brandon Aiyuk worked out with Trey Lance in the off season, for timing and chemistry. Jimmy had none of that with the offense this off season. Shoot, Jimmy was already saying his good byes right when the 49ers season ended. He basically wasn't in the game plan at all.

This is such a crock of s**t. Jimmy has worked with all the starting receivers for multiple yrs. It's the same plays and verbiage. Acting like the past 4 yrs just don't exist lol.

you sure like to crap on a 22 yr old QB who literally hasn't had chemistry with his team and is learning the game BUT you got excuses for a 8 yr vet who's been in this system with all these dudes for years.

Jimmy is a 8 year vet who has had over a year now to build "chemistry" with his weapons so he gets a pass. But Trey who is basically still a rookie as far as in game experience does not get a pass. Don't you understand the logic in that?

Yeah it's further proof of bias nonsense

Its crazy how fans have been blaming Shanahan for these types of losses. Kyle can only scheme the guys open, he cannot make the QB throw it to them.
