Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, Los Angeles Rams

I wonder what fans from the Bills, Chiefs, Chargers, etc that have a superstar QB argue about? Can you imagine not having that problem? I don't think there was one year as a Niners fan the past 20 years when we were like "Welp we're all set at QB!" Even Alex Smith's best couple of years and Jimmy's SB year and last year I thought we could do better. Kaep was sort of the closest feeling to a franchise QB. He fleeced me. He owned teams for 2 years.

I hope Trey is it. I really do. I want to argue about receivers, lineman and punters instead of the most important position. We have to have the craziest QB situation out of any NFL team

People complaining about how Jimmy gets a pass for things Lance doesn't is a dumb topic because Lance hasn't played at all essentially. He hasn't proven anything yet.

The post I responded to had nothing to do with Jimmy's play, it was complaining about how Trey is being treated on the Internet.

Jimmy had a 14.2 QBR this last game. That is worse than the very worst of Lance's entire career. So I will have to dispute that claim.

Oh yeah? Well Lance had a 0.0 QBR versus Denver so Jimmy played better.

Something is better than nothing.

Sit his ass. If Kyle didn't feel comfortable using him outside of a high school game plan, virtually non existent in the passing game, even after working with him exclusively all off season, why would he suddenly flip the script after a major surgery to his ankle?

Let him heal up and have another off season with Kyle. Hopefully by then Kyle will consider using him as a mobile and in-pocket passer.

The 1.5 gap DL. That's become the gold standard from destroying our OZ run game and if you have the pass rush to tee off after that, you're in great position to kill our offense playing right into our two biggest weaknesses (QB + PP).
