It became so heated Andy Reid had to drag them into the locker room and out of the public eye.

Conservative play calls have not been a criticism of Reid in the past but this season seems different. KC media is picking up on it and asking questions.

I know you're not saying that Jimmy and Patrick are the same. But I think it really matters you put them in context with their ability to play. Jimmy missed a lot of throws last week that Mahomes simply would have made.

Kyle's had his issues playcalling this year no doubt about it. That doesn't mean he's even close to the main reason for Jimmy's struggles.

My point was, play-callers go through downturns the same as players. It happens to the best of them. Kyle is clearly on a downturn this season. Many have speculated the loss of McDaniel is to blame, however, that does not excuse some of the truly bad calls and sequencing of plays that have plagued the offense this season. After all, Kyle was supposed to be the guru, not McDaniel.

I see your point… I don't expect Jimmy to play that poorly all season and I do think Kyle is in a play calling slump. I guess what I'm trying to say is, Kyle's play calling looks worse then it is due to our lack of execution. Even in a slump, I still have confidence that Kyle will call a better game plan then nearly any team we face. Do you really think Hackett and Eberflus out coached Kyle? Cause I really don't. Trey and Jimmy just haven't executed enough this year.
it doesn't matter what Kyle calls, the players need to make the plays

we're one dimensional and no coaching staff can play call out of that

Jimmy needs to get his s**t together. Kyle needs to attempt to be a little more unpredictable. He's an amazing play designer, but after his script runs out it's fairly easy to guess if he's running or passing (assuming a lead). I'd imagine that leads to an easier job for the defense in terms of scheme.

People blaming Kyle when we see about six touchdowns per game left on the field. Come on.

Jimmy is finally better than Russel!

That's why Jimmy throw into triple coverage for an int to ice the game (which has nothing to do with KS) 🤣

F JIMMY, JUST RUN THE BALL. He should be limited to 20 attempts a game due to his limitations and bad decision making (That's on KS), he might be the highest paid backup in the NFL right now (that's on the FO), depending on how well he preforms the rest of this season he might not ever be a NFL starter again (the NFL view of him as a QB).

This is what happens when your QB can't read a defense post snap. If I hear one more Jimmy stan say Trey can't read a defense—or that Kap couldn't for that matter—I might explode. Our starter turned backup turned starter is one of the worst in the entire league at reading a defense post-snap. Jimmy's arm is the only reason he's worth a damn (and it's a damn good arm in that 15 yard window). He doesn't have it between the ears and he never will.

He could have thrown that off his back foot without even stepping up if he had thrown with anticipation.

He runs backwards to escape the rush yet he has no legs to get anywhere, limitations.. even a old Rusell Wilson has more legs still 🤣 JUST RUN THE BALL, F JIMMY.

But yes, how many times did Kyle scheme a WR on a LB, but the stans want to blame Kyle. Come on. This is ridiculous. This falls on Jimmy, not Kyle. And the more I see things like this, the more I wonder how much of Jimmy's success has been Josh McDaniel and Kyle Shanahan, rather than Jimmy (of course his quick release and accuracy get the ball there, but that's all he's contributing to the success, and the failures are almost all on him, as is this case).

He isn't wrong. As a play caller you gatta know your QB cant throw a ball past 10 yrds.

No way lol. Throw the damn ball! He has no problem throwing risky passes off his back foot when under pressure, but the one time a guy is running wide open for a game winning touchdown, he decides not to risk it and tries to run around elite defensive ends. The best move is obviously to step up and throw, but he could have flat footed it out there and gotten it there if he'd have thrown it early enough.
