But I'm skeptical, very skeptical. I think it's more likely that what we're seeing is in fact the state of the team, and we're just not as good as we all thought.

The team has the talent. The defense is firing on all cylinders.

The offense is not yet.

It was the same last season. We lost a bunch of games. It was because the team was out of sync.

This season it is happening to an extent again. Some of the blocking is not quite right because of the timing, some of the receivers aren't exactly where they should be at the time they are meant to be and Jimmy G at times has thrown late or too early.

Given JG has started late after zero pre season etc etc and the team was geared up for Trey how is the state of play even a shock to anyone?

The expectation that things should be perfect and it is all JG's fault is a thoroughly unconvincing proposition.

This is far from Jimmy's fault. Jimmy's the backup. You hope to win 50% of your games when your backup is in. I'm saying the offense with the scheme and talent looks lost. We'll see, but I'm skeptical this will be a repeat of last season.

But can we agree that a NFL QB should know that he cant take a 10 step drop on your own 1 yard line?

That play made me question is this is real life or am I living in a simulation and someone is effing with me

I wasn't surprised. Jimmy has movie star looks, not Mensa brain…

So I live in CO with a bunch of Bronco fans... they were saying how with the way our defense is playing there is no way the niners could lose. I told them just wait... Midget is gonna midget and these are the exact types of games they lose and wait long enough JG is gonna start playing for them and we dont have a big enough lead to overcome it.

Welp we know how that turned out. This team needs to build a first half lead and then Kyle needs to stop being cute and just take the ball out of JG's hands. Just have him QB sneak every play that isnt a RB run in the 4th quarter, the team would at least be 2-1.

Yet it is so convincing about Trey Lance that he should be released?

Lol released who said that?

The entire rook deal is fully gtd so you can release him but you would still be paying. It would be the most nonsense thing we have done since drafting him.

I'm pretty sure he said Trey should be traded for a late round pick this offseason. Still a pretty ridiculous take from many angles. Especially when you consider the post above. We should give a 9 year veteran more patience than a 22 year old player with 3 starts, one of which was in a monsoon.

Nah the post I remember he said he should be released. Time to move on. He was joining in with SD pathetic rants.

Yeah last year our defense was inconsistent and were embarrassed several times but they turned it around. But also last year we were generally healthy across the board. Going into the MNF game with the Rams we are going to be down 6 starters.
