Denver--arm fatigue / preseason
Championship Game--better QBR than Staffy
Divisional Game--eff the Packers
Wild Card Game--this is our house baby
Rams--got us to the playoffs yay
Tennessee--injury happened / he played on

So in the last 24 quarters look at all that work

Lol why is it many Americans cannot understand sarcasm when they see it? The whole Trey is our saviour brigade feel so butt hurt when anyone questions that he is an unproven very raw rookie who has not proven himself at all. He has won only one game and has been injured in some way every time he has played. He has a slow release and Kyle tried to overcome that by designing run plays. Well that broke him quickly. So in year three he hasnt progressed. By then he would have played 3.1 NFL games and be recovering from a nasty break. Excuse me for not feeling optimistic that he is going to start next year from the beginning and lead us to the SB. Like people thought he would last year and this year.

Before you dis me too much remember I was the one who said JG would still be on the roster this year. Ya'll poowhoed that didn't you?

Are you optimistic about what you saw on Sunday?

Oh that's right only Jimmy deserves patience

It is what is expected when the whole offense was set up with Trey in mind and when the expected JG out the door. I also remember a game when Aiyuk dropped a perfect long pass and so did Jennings from memory. That is the timing thing that will get better when these guys haven't practiced much. It is clear against the Seahawks JG was a bit more off the leash and it worked. KS reined that in and looked what happened. Kyle's plays work well but it takes a lot of practice to get all the pieces moving in sync. The problem with complexity is if one component is not working in sync it derails everything. And that is the vulnerability in Kyle's playbook. You can out clever yourself at times.

So you ask me if I am optimistic. The answer is I expect the coordination of the plays to get smoother over time and JG will also improve as the team improves.

In regard to Kyle improving his playbook to deal with that vulnerability I am not as optimistic because a boffin will always be a boffin and Kyle won't be able to help himself. Sometimes you need not be tricky on every play or frequency of trick plays. If every play is too trick you soon dont fool anyone.

Sometimes fans always have unrealistic expectations and hold the HC of their favorite team to a higher standard than they do other HC's around the league.

Respect for the man that honors his bet!!!
I wonder if Jimmy G stills scores on the last regular season game drive if Ram's safety Jordan Fuller didn't get hurt.

When they signed Jimmy to be the backup, all his supporters were saying it was a smart move to have a guy that knows the system. Now he has a terrible game and we hear he's rusty because he didn't get to practice with the team. Always an excuse for Jimmy.

It's just the truth man. He's still got a 98.5 career rating. That's solid stuff. It's his preseason now.

KS just needed to get TL through maybe week 4.. and JG would have had more time to ramp up the throwing in prax build up the arm. Coach couldn't do it. Was it too much to ask? Just don't get the starter hurt in the 5th qtr of the season?

Didn't Jimmy suffer a similar type of injury in early 2020 while in the pocket?

It's true. KS has a track record of getting QBs injured early in season. 2018, 2020, 2022.. wait a sec.. I am noticing a trend here

The trick, I'd wager, is that he doesn't value interior linemen very much.
Remember lat year when Jimmy was playing like crap, the Rams were coming up, and everyone was sure Jimmy was done? Then he had one of his best games. Maybe that happens this week. *crosses finers*
