You're the one saying the pass to Kittle in the end zone was bad? I disagree. Kittle needs to get that foot down. Haven't rewatched it but that looked like a great play by Jimmy.

Kittle's doubled and engaged with one defender another is lurking.. that's an INT unless the ball is perfect and even perfect (cuz you have to throw over the lurk) it's out of the back. Very low probability of a TD imo it would have been a stupid good play if Kittle scores that. Meanwhile.. one on one with BA, he fakes the in and Ramsey bites.. open on the out. I posted the highlights it's in there. One JG surely would like to have back. BA you could tell visibly he knows he had a td on that one.

Yup, just play like that. Doesn't need to be spectacular and just make enough throws without the bonehead ones and this team will win many games with this D. If this is what we get from him, I'm very cool with that.

Could be more a symptom of playing for his choker HC/OC who's already blown two superbowls after big leads with poor clock management by going away from the run.

Yep, just like the ones constantly bashing Kyle even though he took the worst roster in football and brought them minutes away from winning a super bowl in just year 3 (would've won if his qb makes the big throw to seal it) and then to another nfc championship just two seasons later with a mediocre at best qb. If he had a top 10 qb this team most likely has 2 trophies in the past 3 years. He would've schemed up another blowout over mcvay, out coached him 8straight games now, if jimmy doesn't miss a wide open wr on multiple occasions like he did again tonight.

As usual Jimmy only needs everything aound him to be perfect to play relatively well

Good pass-protection--check
Good running game--check
Tons of YAC--check

Jimmy is good under those cuscumstances beause every QB in this league would be good under those curcumstances.

We all know what happens when something around him ins´t perfect.

This would be meaningless if we lay an egg Sunday. No excuse to have this game over by the 4th in Carolina, we even get a 4:05 kick off time too

Good game by jimmy. Miss some throws like usual. Miss aiyuk for a TD on the george kittle failed toe drag. Seems like he was going to kittle all the way from the snap.

That really is what sums it up. He played OK but still left a lot of points on the field. He just has this terrible knack for predetermining where he's going with the ball but interestingly on the Aiyuk miss he actually looked at Aiyuk first but came off of him so early, didn't even allow Aiyuk to make his break to the outside before he moved onto Kittle.

It was a good throw for sure but the wrong throw. If you go to the 49ers-Rams highlights on youtube you'll see how open Aiyuk is. He shook Ramsey. Too bad, JG was looking at him at first but came off of it so quick and moved onto Kittle.

Enjoyable to watch tonight. Needle pointing up.
