He's gonna have another denver game and its gonna be so bad that theres always the potential that he could be benched. Jimmy will always have that arsonist in him who has the potential to burn the entire game down at a moments notice. Jimmy had a decent game. Enjoy last night and don't gloat because its such a bad look. You gloat if your a mahomes fan, cause mahomes is a friggin stud. If jimmy has a decent game, you note it, enjoy it, and move on.

Crying is so much better

"I saw him driving on it so I just didn't want to throw the interception," Garoppolo said. "I kind of gave it a 'either Deebo will get it or no one will' and that's about all I did on the play."

Yes, I read that. The question is….do you really believe it ?

The question is.. does it matter? At all?

It doesn't. Since we're judging jimmy by results, it was a great pass that led to 6 pts. It's a game of inches.

Yup as Kyle said and I'm a paraphrasing but air yards are highly inefficient compared to short efficient high percentage throws. This is why he drafts YAC people.

Fans obsession with fantasy football stats is unbelievably naive.

Air yards is not a fantasy stat. Dinking and dunking to good players like Kittle/Deebo/Aiyuk works to a certain degree, but mainly because of those 3 and not the QB. The offense could be so much more with a QB that defenses had to respect more.

Yeah it is. It's a stat only used in fantasy football.

Idk what league you're in, but I've never earned a point in FF for air yards. We don't care about air yards, we want a QB that defenses have to respect. Joe Montana wasn't a big air yards guy, but secondaries knew he would make them pay if they made a mistake.

Jimmy doesn't make secondaries pay when they make a mistake. That's really the problem more than air yards.

You've never earned a point but have you ever once seen it used as an important metric towards anything, ever in any statistical category? Why does one have to dig through random sites to find such stata? Mainly in fantasy sites. It's a made up stat by fantasy footballers because more chunk yards get points.

There's literally no correlation between air yards and effectiveness. Hell we were nearly 10 ypa last night throwing short compared to Webzone favorite air yards hero Stafford who was like 5.3.

I agree with that. Last night, Juice got over the top of the defense. Jimmy was looking that way but never saw him. It happened in Denver on multiple plays as well. Got to hit those layups.

What should we do draft a big armed air yards guy is that what you recommend? Oh, wait..

we are kinda at a point now where we have to ride or die JG in 2022.. so any talk of remaking the QB room gotta wait till offseason.. unless you want to sign Cam which would not be a bad idea imo

I was low on Jimmy going into last night's game but maybe I didn't give him the benefit of the doubt because of all his missed practice time. Yes, Jimmy is hot and cold and he has always been like this but he should become more consistent as the season progresses.

If the team's health holds up and we get a bunch of starters back, this team will definitely have another shot at eternal glory. Let's hope Jimmy continuously improves and is along for the entire ride. If we see Purdy in action, may it only be in glimpses.

Yea I believe it. You know why? He threw it high on purpose. That was not an inaccurate throw. That was actually very smart placement. Jimmy is not a total derp all the time and can actually make NFL throws in the moment when he has to. Also Aikman's initial reaction was that Jimmy threw it high on purpose. And then oh yea he admitted it was high on purpose after the game

BangBang certainly sounds like another poster in here? How many accounts does this dude have

And you cry a lot. Grow up. Enjoy a win for once.

He had a great game last night by his standards. Lots of YAC and throws behind the LOS is our formula for success on offense this year, so embrace it.

Pretty much. We damn well know certain posters in here would be all over that if it was a 22 yr old QB.

Says the guy crying after a win against our divisional rival. The irony and hypocrisy.

I like Jimmy and I've said before that I'm happy he's starting over Trey (this season). His style works with the talent we have, but I still want a better QB
