I'm sure he will have an INT or two , a fumble here or there like any other human QB, so the true venom will come out then even if we win the game by 2 TDs or more in the process.
If folks are hoping for true horrific QB play, just be patient and see if he's not leading the team next season and beyond. I'm almost sure the guy that is next in line after Jimmy will satisfy all who are apparently horny for bad QB play.

Most everyone, unless if you're a miserable impatience shortsighted malcontent, were and are ready to move on from Jimmy and let the Trey Era begin this season including the people that actually call the shots, Lynch and KS as well as Jed York, the only reason Jimmy came back was because no other team wanted to trade for him aka give up a 2nd round pick and Jimmy was willing to take a big pay cut to be Treys backup is the only reason why he came back, so don't get it twisted 😉
But don't worry, Trey Era will 110% begin without Jimmy on the roster 2023, EVEN IF Jimmy wins the SB with the 9ers this season, he's a goner and depends on how this season ends, he might not even be a starter somewhere else.. it remains to be seen.

Classic example of something sounding correct in theory but not in reality.
Classic example of proving the point you've been arguing against for years, and not realizing it.
What exactly are you saying I have been arguing against?
Dude you and the other Jimmy haters have been arguing for YEARS that Kyle doesn't trust Jimmy, and that's why he checks down to RB's and doesn't throw to WR's. That he's conservative, especially in the red zone, because of his QB. Then you cite a stat that in Matt Ryan's MVP season (the one that the Jimmy haters LOVE to reference to disparage Jimmy) that Julio only had 2 TD's in the red zone. Two RB's had more red zone targets than him. So that is PROOF that it's a Kyle offensive design/problem/issue or whatever you want to call it.
Kyle was, is, and likely always will be a smash mouth, physical, run oriented offensive play caller. Doesn't matter who is QB is, that's what he wants to do. You proved it lol. Again, thank you.
*Sigh* where to even begin with this post.
First and foremost, you are talking to the wrong person. I was saying over and over again that I have no idea if Kyle trusts Jimmy fully or not, and there is a ton of evidence that proves EITHER opinion. I posted that many many times, specifically after the 2019 playoffs. So don't lump me in with those people. I can try to find receipts if you'd like.
Secondly, Matt Ryan had 23 redzone touchdowns in 2019. Twenty three. You are trying to draw conclusions about Kyle Shanahan and comparing two totally different strategies. Ryan threw substantially more RZ touchdown passes than Jimmy has in his best season. It wasn't a reflection of Julio Jones at all. It was a reflection of Ryan throwing a lot of touchdown passes in the Redzone and not Jimmy. You can decide for yourself what the reason for that is. (This would evidence that Kyle doesn't fully trust Jimmy, but like I said, there is plenty of evidence on the other side as well).
Wait you don't think having Julio Jones helped their red zone offense at all? Whoa okay.
I reread my post right after I clicked submit and thought to myself that I probably should edit the "at all" part, but left it alone. Sure enough, you nitpicked those few words out of my entire post and ignored everything else. I should have known better.
Having Julio obviously helped, but not in the way that you were implying when you initially brought him up...and you know that. He was likely double teamed a bunch in the redzone, similar to how Kittle is....which opened the offense up for TWENTY ONE redzone touchdown passes for the other players. One would assume the blanketing of Kittle in the redzone would do the same for us, but here we are.
Kittle is Julio Jones now. Got it.
I don't know why I even bother trying to have football discussions with you. I hope you aren't like this in real life.
anyways, it's carry jimmy season woooo let's get carried away

You literally just made the argument that since we have Kittle, that should open up the red zone offense the way that Julio Jones did for Atlanta. Is that not equating the effect of Kittle to Jones?

SWH the fact that you never address s**t posts like this from the more extreme Jimmy haters is why you get lumped in with them just FYI.

Since yards after catch shouldn't count for a QB and the only thing that determines whether or not a QB would set records in this stacked offense is whether or not they can throw deep, why not just bring back C.J. Beathard? He had a way better deep ball than Jimmy. He's faster, too. He actually has better physical tools than Trey Lance, funny enough.
So why move on from Beathard? Surely he's a better QB than Jimmy and would light it up in this offense. Think of all the air yards he would have.

Playing the best ball of his career. Moving in the pocket, throwing his wrs open, throwing deeper than usual. I was ripping on him but if he keeps this up, especially in the playoffs we definitely have a chance to win it all. McGlinchey is our only obstacle on offense now

I generally skip over a ton of posts because I'm busy. Weird reason, I know. It's almost like I have a life and there's a lot more to respond to than the webzone 😬

Do these "more extreme Jimmy haters" include posters that simply answer to topics you bring up?
