The thing is the criticism isn't even always rooted in reality or fair. Sometimes it is and with some it is.

But when I posted about some of the "critics" pointing out that Jimmy threw 2 "almost picks" against the Rams in a game in which he went 21-25 and we dominated, I got ridiculous attitude back from someone i put on ignore that bringing up "almost picks" is a correct way to evaluate QB's and saying otherwise is asinine.

Maybe at times yes. But when it becomes obvious that it's the usual suspects looking for a negative in a game that was otherwise a tremendous positive, both for Jimmy and the team it is ridiculous. Plus, not all "almost picks" are on the QB alone either. Maybe the receiver messed up his route a little. Maybe the DB went after the ball harder than the receiver. Maybe the defender made an "almost great" play. But you throw the ball in the NFL 25 times, 30 times, 35 times, whatever, you could probably find one or two throws minimum at times with almost every single one that were "almost picks" ranging from Davis Mills to Patrick Mahomes.

The "Jimmy stan" stuff is of course also ridiculous. While I'm sure there are a group of fans that think he's awesome, most of us simply realize he's a tick above average and sometimes can be nearly great and at other times he can do something very stupid. But some of us know that upgrading from a pretty decent QB isn't the easiest thing in the world to do. Heck, obviously we tried. Trey was going to be the man, Jimmy was going to be gone. Look what happened. Maybe/probably next year- and even then that hopeful upgrade is a young man who hasn't played much football at all since 2019.

Criticism is fine and some of it is fair, intelligent, and discussion worthy. Some of it's ridiculous. And the idea that, "they're paid millions and millions of dollars so they should be able to take it." Sure. But it's always amazing to see people who assumingly are not making millions and millions of dollars decide to act like juvenile fools in public for all the internet to see. Maybe that's one reason why they're not making millions and millions of dollars.

This is far more spicy than a Kyle Shanahan game plan!

Funny you say that. Crocker and Panelli were just talking about that. A bit more zip this year. My tell has been rolling to the right and throwing on the move...inaccurate high ducks.

But that throw to Ray-Ray and Aiyuk on the clutch 3rd down needed zip and accuracy outside the hashes. This clearly is the strongest I've seen his arm since he's arrived, IMHO.
