We have 1 win out of 5 this season where we didn't win by 2 or more scores and it was against a quality opponent in primetime.

You continue to stay on Kyle the poor playcaller narrative that your trying to drive where the issue was more about Kyle the poor personnel manager.
It's always the same. Blame to the scheme or "not valuing positions properly" when in reality the biggest issues are where they've made the personnel goofs. 137 mil spent on a solid unspectacular qb, top 10 pick on an average tackle, no legit center, no interest in using high picks on the secondary. Those are the fair criticisms and the root causes of the team inefficiency. Despite those things they still have an elite roster that, if they can just gain consistency and mitigate those weaknesses, can still be successful.

This throw from #49ers Jimmy Garoppolo to WR Ray-Ray McCloud was sick 👀

Its better than someone showing all the 2nd and longs we were in without taking into consideration any context that should go along with it. I am all for calling out Kyle the HC because poor execution at some point should lie squarely on his shoulders when it seems to be an on going problem. But calling him out as a playcaller is just dumb and uninformed.
I note those all the time because our offense goes as our first down offense goes. In this case, we were able to overcome that in the 4Q with stellar 3rd down %. In short, no matter the finger-point issue, life was made much harder than it should have been. That was the point. Given we had 41 rushes, it wasn't hard to see where much of that started from.

I never ever said he was a poor play caller. In fact, I just said yesterday, IMHO, he's been a slightly above average (has "great" potential) play caller and a below average HC this year. That's so far. Right now he's not getting the most out of his play makers. Now if he gets better, I'll call that out as well.
He's just not going to get full blind love from me after 6 off seasons with total team control.
Unless winning the Superbowl is no longer the standard.
But hasn't your whole speel about all the 2nd and long situations been you pointing toward poor playcalling? Or have I misunderstood your whole argument up to this point?
No, I said there's a number of issues why we were constantly in 2nd and long. The 10 yards penalties, predictable play calling, poor execution, volume of runs, passing game, RPO game, etc. Kyle was referenced more simply because of the 41 rushing attempts and the narrative was it was a vanilla and conservative game plan. That too starts with Kyle and its his decision to stick with that, predominantly. And that was coming out of 2 weeks of preparation and full health. With a highly efficient 3rd down game by the QB, this one titled more to Kyle.
So often in here you hear, Kyle called a great game and so-so just missed it. IMHO, this was the exact reverse of that.

Or consistently behind or killing clock time to not lose instead of to put the dagger in the heart.
It's his style while that may not be bad in the big picture I had hoped for a much more explosive and fun to watch offense. But that's me as a delusional fan. There is a certain head coach in Miami that I would have loved to see as OC while Kyle HC just to see what would have happened. There maybe others out there with similar talents. Look to the Bills. Kyle maybe has too much on his plate.
As NY has pointed out McDaniel isn't calling a extremely different game than Kyle. He's just got a QB who is executing big plays at a higher level with elite playmakers. That is literally the entire difference. RPOs all over the place for Tua. He's picking pass.

I agree. Some of our issues are due to poor personnel decisions like you stated. Another big issue is the execution not only from weak personnel positions but from our all pro and above average players as well. That, imo, points directly to the position coaches who are still quite new to these players and this team.

16 points minimum left out on the field strictly because of player misses.

BTW, big props to Ray-Ray here as well. CMC influence? We're typically not a great team on off schedule plays (Jimmy and the receivers).
There was another one to CMC to the right off schedule...who fell down as the throw arrived. Like Aiyuk, not sure why these guys keep falling down. LOL
But can we talk about the two best throws of the day?
Jimmy's TWO throw-aways? TWO!!! In one game.

A vanilla and conservative gameplan that held the ball for over 37 minutes and were a few missed assignments away from blowing out a quality opponent.

Also points to the players themselves not being fully locked in. There's a mindset required to be a championship team. Jerry talked about the mindset of those 80s 9ers teams. Players gotta have that too. Coaches can only do so much. Players also have to be accountable to one another and that part of the leadership seems to be lacking to me. Can't all fall on big Trent.

Because we won at the very end. Had Jimmy not converted one of those 3rd downs, it's probably a loss and the Jimmy thread is going apes**t right now.
If we had used our play makers and got up and 'then' got vanilla and conservative to burn the clock and hold the W, fine.
...just made it way harder than it needed to be.

Try hard to hold everyone to the same standard. You don't need to run interference for Kyle every Monday morning. We all know him...even better than JG.
Kyle the Playcaller:
2nd and 11
2nd and 11
2nd and 10
2nd and 7
2nd and 12
2nd and 20
2nd and 20
2nd and 10
2nd and 9
2nd and 13
2nd and 11
Ultra conservative RZ (tops last year with Mike McDaniel and the 4-minute offense)
--- This is not making life easy on your QB as K.Warner noted. This is on just 10 possessions.
Kyle the Head Coach:
"Shooting itself in the foot" has been a cultural theme under Kyle
Penalties
Drops
Injuries
Outschemed
Oversight of defense and special teams
Lack of accountability
Doghouse (Aiyuk) for some; Penthouse (McGlinchey) for others
Slow in-game and half-time adjustments
Inability to close out games
Zero complete games in all 3 phases
--- These are killer signs in a HC.
Lol that's not calling out s**t. Look at the damn play and see what the problem was. Not just the result of it. Perfect example are those two missed RPOs, both went for negative yards BUT in reality if the QB read it properly it was a TD and the other was at the very least an explosive (possible TD).
You want to call about bad play calling…well show it what the proper play call should have been?

Look it was awesome no doubt. Good job Jimmy. Give him a cookie. He's been here for years. Wouldn't you expect a play like this every now and then? Not picking on Jimmy. Really not but the dude has a really great play and it's like he is the new GOAT. And the pass is reposted over and over like a SB winning drive. Oh wait..
But props to Jimmy for that excellent play and RR too.
