Saw that and another missed RPO read. s**tty one would have been a TD and another would have went for a massive gain. s**t happens, we won but it's all why people need to calm their tits about play calling until the all-22 comes out.

You can see Jimmy on the first one say, "Damnit!" knowing he missed that one.

It's turned into KS inability to keep the most important position healthy.

I said back vs KC the JG first injury it was so dumb imo. He had the boundary. KC mocked him after the game saying it was his fault for not going out of bounds.

I wonder if KS ever grabbed JG by the shoulders and said look you are too valuable to take dumb, unnecessary hits. Would have been great to do that once you sign him to record money, the 5 years $137million.

Yet here in 2022 we see no sliding, no getting down, no going out of bounds, no throwing it away from either QB. Just terrible.. Heck the tv crew doing the Bears game week 1 called us out they said our TL deployment was reckless.. given the investment.

Oh my god, it's Kyle's fault Jimmy didn't run out of bounds? Dude you gotta be trolling at this point.

Lance running is reckless, Justin fields/hurts running is electric apparently lol.

That, and Shanahan's preference to run the ball over passing. Some have mentioned Lance's stronger arm as the reason he was selected. While I agree that was a part of it, the larger reason was Shanahan's preference for a running QB that would amplify the running game.

It is ironic that Garoppolo's inability to stay healthy was a big part of the reason to draft Lance and now he is the one that is missing playing time due to injury. That is not only costing us in terms of development, but it is also wasting his rookie contract benefit. While that is not Lance's fault, it will all play into the future of how this team goes next year.

Hill and Waddle are better WRs. Both have more speed to separate than Deebo and AB, Hill has already proven over time and Waddle has already eclipse 1000 yds. And Tua is a way better and more talent QB than Jimmy ever will be.

Question for the Jimmy detractors. Is this "criticism" or "hate" by Chillin? This man has being going ON AND ONE this entire week bashing Jimmy with absolutely zero analysis. Just continually saying he's not elite, a backup, won't be a starter next season, etc.

What is the F'ing point of spam posts like this?

Kyle don't roll that way. He already told you what he thinks about deeper shots.

You do know what an RPO is right?

You also know who makes the decision right?

You know not EVERY play is RPO, right?
"Steve Young believes Kyle Shanahan's conservative play-calling is due to 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo"

No really Steve? Jimmy is not a probowl or HOF QB like you Steve 🤣 he's greatly limited as a passer.

I mean, did Danny Gray even see the field vs the Chargers? 🤣

Of course.

Dolphins are running a lot of them though. Tua is CHOOSING to pass. Not McDaniel

To call a team running a lot of RPOs pass centric is completely disingenious.
Look, Danny Gray was drafted for this (new) offense for Trey, SAYS ALL.

Who's holding the offense on passing back again???

SMH. 🤣

Jimmy G is 110% gone 2023. Who knows, he might be replaced by Trey in the play offs... who knows what the future holds..

Do you know what percentage of plays are RPO's for Miami? And of those RPO's, how many end up being passes versus runs? Same questions for the Niners?

And like Jonny said Jimmy gets multiple play calls that he can change (run to a different run, pass to run, pass to different pass, run to different run). There's a s**t ton of nuance that goes into all of it.

Tua in college and when he played in the NFL prior to this yr was the tits at RPOs

I'm not sure what the % of RPOs are, I'm sure that can be found somewhere. He's just good at it.
