Kyle don't roll that way. He already told you what he thinks about deeper shots.

You do know what an RPO is right?

You also know who makes the decision right?

Look, Danny Gray was drafted for this (new) offense for Trey, SAYS ALL.

Who's holding the offense on passing back again???

SMH. 🤣

Jimmy G is 110% gone 2023. Who knows, he might be replaced by Trey in the play offs... who knows what the future holds..

Haha I stop drinking alcohol a long time ago.

BTW, I'm Jon Taffer here and NOT the other way around, don't get it twisted 🤣

Then you may want to start up again.

Of course.

Dolphins are running a lot of them though. Tua is CHOOSING to pass. Not McDaniel

To call a team running a lot of RPOs pass centric is completely disingenious.

Tua in college and when he played in the NFL prior to this yr was the tits at RPOs

I'm not sure what the % of RPOs are, I'm sure that can be found somewhere. He's just good at it.

Nice to see a HC adapt to his QB's strengths. Let us know when Kyle adds spread concepts for Jimmy. Hehe.

No really Steve? Jimmy is not a probowl or HOF QB like you Steve 🤣 he's greatly limited as a passer.

I mean, did Danny Gray even see the field vs the Chargers? 🤣

Though not elite, Garoppolo is not "greatly limited as a passer." This season he has proven he can through it deep and outside the numbers. Many have observed this and considered it is because he is fully healthy. He also has one of the fastest setups and releases of anyone in the league. This has been a major asset with an OL that is still learning to play together. That is all part of being an effective passer in this league.

As to Danny Gray, it isn't his fault that he has not learned to run all the assignments he needs to know in order to see more of the field. Shanahan has said that specifically. As it is now, if Gray were to come into the game, the defense would know immediately a deep pass is coming and cover it. It isn't Jimmy's fault Gray is a rookie still learning to play the game. Shanahan is well-known for preferring vets over rookies. I expect to see more of Gray as the season progresses. In the meantime, we wait.

Tua ran RPOs more than anyone last yr all the same lol.

Yeah you're right kyle doesn't run a bunch of in breaking routes and yankee concepts…things that Jimmy has shown is his bread and butter. Come on dude

And like Jonny said Jimmy gets multiple play calls that he can change (run to a different run, pass to run, pass to different pass, run to different run). There's a s**t ton of nuance that goes into all of it.

Playing this year thus far:

297 pass plays (279 attempts, 18 Sacks)
253 rush plays

This is 54% pass and 46% run.

Lol. Huh?
Someone should let Steve know Kyle don't roll that way and he's wrong

Huh what? Tua ran more RPOs than anyone last yr….with a different coach.

if you don't think Kyle has adapted his play calling to his QB then you're straight up trolling.

Just a tad up from his tenure here.

(2021, 2020, 2019)
Rushing Attempts (499, 437, 498)
Passing Attempts (514, 570, 478)
So sick of the Dolphins talk. Someone needs to expose them soon, hopefully it will be SF because it sure as hell won't be the Texans (their next opponent)

Exactly. Kyle does run an offense that gets the best out of his QB's strengths. What is being asked by NC is for Kyle to completely abandon his offensive philosophy in order to cater to the QB. No HC/OC would ever do that.

Lol right? A couple people in here apparently know kyle better than Steve Young

I specifically said, spread concepts like he played all through college and in NE. Nothing to do with in breaking routes.

You mean like adding the Patriots Hoss-juke concept to the 2018 playbook
