A bit harsh, but I never played QB in the NFL, so I'll defer to the experts.
Oh man .. he had Aiyuk wide open deep
There was a similar play left on the field against the Chargers.
I mean, using a baseball analogy here, it kind of feels like Jimmy saw a fastball right down the pipe but took the bunt single instead of swinging for the fences.
Ultimately, it's just one play, and otherwise he's been playing lights out. You'd love for him to hit them all, but at the end of the day, if the overall body of work is as good as its been, I'm happy with it. But I do still hope in the future, this is stuff that Trey will routinely hit and will ultimately become a much superior player.
What we are seeing right now is the best version of Jimmy, which is really good. But is the best version of Jimmy still a limit on the potential of this offense? Imagine Brady/Rodgers/Mahomes/Allen/Herbert in this offense with these weapons.
No hate on Jimmy, but the coaching staff knows what it's doing when it comes to the QB position.
Youre not wrong. But your also using the goat, the back to back mvp, and two dudes competing for future goat as your reference points.
He's good, he's not generationally great…. thats what you're saying.
And that seems a little spoiled to me.
happy thanksgiving 👍🏻👍🏻
