- 4,048 yards (best of career)
- 103 passer rating (best of career)

some solid numbers. I'll take it!

lets give no credit to the new qb coach though.

Too bad Trey was unfortunately injured earlier in the season and ALL TC time and KS offense game planning preseason went to Trey, how he would have flourished and developed with the team this season we would never know.. 2023 will definitely be Trey Era with Jimmy a goner as a FA as soon as this season concludes good or bad definitely will cement Jimmy's legacy as a 49er QB.

yeah, I think that gets underestimated and forgotten. All the reps, offseason time, training camp, in coordination with the new offensive staff was all dedicated to Trey and his game and playstyle.

as Jimmy said the week of the Denver game, it was literally like the first week of training camp.

credit to the coaches for their adjustments on the fly in adapting back to Jimmy, and along with Jimmy reciprocating the same, and with the players via time spent and practice throughout the weeks

Assuming a lot here. Trey could be the starter the year....he could also not. Jimmy could depart at the end of the season...he could also not.

This is IMO closer to the reality as things have developed. There is a new window open today that wasn't here in June that potentially has this team moving on from Trey and rolling with Jimmy long term.

Huh? I'll give him credit. Im very impressed with the job he's done this year with Jimmy. He's done a much better job than I expected.

Remember people bringing up Rich Scags (don't know how to spell his last name) and him leaving because he didn't want to work with Lance or some s**t…dude already got fired from Kentucky lol. I always thought he was a butt QB coach/OC.

Jimmy is having a good year no doubt about it…he's also got a buttload of talent around him. I would hope any seasoned vet would have career numbers on this team.

Haha...

I wasn't wrong about deebo before he got HIS BAG while 99% of this forum was tripping he's a goner.

You think I'm wrong on Jimmy especially the fact he's a FA when the season ends?

lol.

Of course you don't have to believe me, WE WILL ALL SEE SOON ENOUGH, what in less than 2 months or so especially if they don't go deep into the playoffs.

I see zero shot of him coming back unless he goes on a Joe Flacco playoff run and wins a Superbowl.

I said it doesn't even matter if he wins the SB, he ain't carrying and he ain't going to be SB MVP, chances are very low that happens, and if the team does, even more reasons some other team gets him, the 9% or less of NFL teams who is QB1 needy with no better options will be willing to give out a big contract.

Dude people think this regime, who invested years of picks are just gonna "move on" from him after 4 & 1/2 QRs of football are not thinking logically at all (and most likely never wanted Lance to begin with).

He most certainly will have every opportunity to be that guy. I would assume they would go get a good seasoned backup, who isn't gonna cost tens of millions of dollars…Someone like Jacoby Brissett comes to mind. Maybe Dalton.

Jimmy will go get paid elsewhere. They've setup their cap structure with the idea of not having to pay a QB $30M a yr.

good on Jimmy for playing well with one of the best roster/coaching staffs in the league. He's gonna get paid again by another team that's in real need of a QB.

Jimmy isn't anywhere near those guys. With that said, everyone likes pointing out how Jimmy has all this talent around him. Young had rice, Taylor, Jones, waters, Floyd. That team was f**king stacked.

So 49ers should move on from Jimmy if he wins a Super Bowl, that would be one of the dumbest moves in 49ers history.

I mean to me, its not even a conversation worth having until it happens. Though I'll acknowledge that theres a 1% chance that it could.

Im not even going to bother getting into the cap ramifications either because I'm not ready to crown this team yet

Even then I don't see it happening. Someone will pay him more and I don't see (logically) how this team would just say Lance is done after four and half QRs of football.

Why? Do you think he's the only QB that could win a SB for this all-star roster? Do you think he's something so special that we have to pay him another $150M+ instead of playing someone like Bosa?

after Joe Flacco's stupid playoff run, he had 2 +.500 seasons in Baltimore

Dumbest move? Consider the fact he has yet to make 1 probowl, he's a FA, Trey is still QB1 just injured, and there is the issue of salary cap. NE let the GOAT go when they didn't even have a backup plan at QB, some people don't take anything into context and learn from history, oh well it's like talking to mules and bricks.

Most importantly I see no problems with KS, Lynch, Yorks moving on to Trey at QB1 once again for good this time in 2023.
