Good news for Jimmy and I am happy for him BUT bad news for the 49ers… he will be back just in time to crap the bed in the playoffs it's an annual event that can't be missed. My preference is for jimmy to heal and get ready for his new team but We all know that he is going nowhere and the torment will continue for years to come. We are incapable of letting go when it comes to jimmy.

GO PURDY, Jimmy will be old news and forgotten in the coming weeks, thanks for the 7-3 baby, you did your best NOW IT'S PURDY TIME BABY!!!!

why aren't you yelling GO JIMMY when he's healthy and starting?
the Jimmy haters are out in full force.

CNt believe some guys in here are arguing that nobody actually hates Jimmy.

Fans have a short memory here.

Remember at the beginning of 2021 a whole bunch of fans on the zone were convinced Trey would be the starter at the beginning of the season and take us to the Super Bowl. It did not happen and was never going to happen.

Every time JG missed a throw, had a turnover or got intercepted these fans were talking like Trey would replace him in the season. Never happened except for injury.

Then the same fans we certain he would never be back in 2022. But they were wrong again.

And still they harp on now he is injured that he has played his last game as a 49er.

How many times do people have to be outright wrong before they understand they don't know what they are talking about?

What a week of an emotional roller coaster. Hahaha first we are confident we are super bowl contenders, then we lose that hope (most fans), and now jimmy might be able to come back for the playoffs. Hahaha

Only thing we are missing now is Brock Purdy playing amazing and then we have a 3 QB drama headline. Hahaha

I'm here for it!

Jimmy is the greatest QB to play the game

Greatest 49er QB of the 21st Century
Listening to the HAM pod and they pointed out that Jimmy has 4 throwaway passes this yr…dats it. It's something he will never be good at and does play a part in extra hits and wild throws.

I love the willingness to "make a play" but s**t it's okay to pull a manning and go down or just throw the ball away on a blown play every once in a while.

There is some truth to what you're saying but the positive side of that stat is a compliment to how efficient our offense has been. We have the least amount of three and outs (or we did)

True. And if Jimmy did throw it away more often, we would get the "trey would have extended the play" argument. It's a no win for Jimmy.

I'm pretty sure even Jimmy didn't expect to be back in 2022 so I guess he was wrong too.

Totally agree, see running in the back of the endzone for a Broncos safety in week 3.

Careful NY. You will be accused of hating and blaming Jimmy for the injury.

Yeah, on the play Jimmy got hurt he was trying to get a couple extra yards for Robbie. Had he not done that it would've been a 53 yarder instead of 47. Robbie probably would've drilled it anyway but a 53 yarder is borderline punting territory for a lot a kickers. Smart play but definitely a no-win for Jimmy.

Why what did he say that was wrong?? You act like they're aren't some distasteful post about Jimmy and his injury in here. Stop playing the victim.
