He truly believed that the Shanahan-Garoppolo partnership was on the verge of solidifying itself.

It's the boy who cried wolf problem, though. Steve has been all over the place. And I love Steve. I think he is a highly intelligent, articulate media figure. But, in the end, he is still a media figure, and his takes reflect that over time.

I think JG and KS were doing what they needed to do to win. I think this "happy marriage" was due to both of them making compromises / adjustments, as it takes two to tango.

Marquise Brown had a similar midfoot fracture and was on the field in 6 weeks. James Washington WR on the Cowboys broke his foot and was out initially 6-10 weeks but has had setbacks and is only now about to make his debut (4 months later).

All injures are different, none are exactly the same in location/severity, etc. He would have to have a perfect rehab. But I don't think it's impossible to think he can play in 6-7 weeks because we've seen it before.

That being said, I'm confident in Brock.

Say again? Jimmy was going to pass too but he pulled it back and tried to get away like he was Lamar Jackson.

Jimmy is not a sexy athletic black man. He's a solid handsome Italian. 8 week recovery

That's kind of his point, isn't it?

It's not that. It's just that all his healing prowess goes to his loins.

Different plays unfold differently. Shouldn't need to explain that.

The point the poster was making was that, had Purdy given up on the play like posters were criticizing Garoppolo for not doing, the team would have missed out on a drive-sustaining conversion.

So if it's a different play, than the posters point is irrelevant right..lol

Purdy can't afford to play with fear.
