I did answer it you just won't accept that how the opposition offense is playing, how the defense played that given day, improvement of young players, players getting healthy, opposition resting players and the like factor in. You want zero sum.

Defensive players had nothing to do with it. Again your words. So clearly mind is made up. Not open at all.

Who else but Woo would surmise that simple?

All of those variables existed before Jimmy arrived. They are painfully obvious and a given. So no, you're still not answering which variables ON THE NINERS that changed. It's a simple answer - none. Even you yourself said Jimmy was "absolutely the biggest factor" in the defensive turnaround. How can that be true if there are "all of these other factors" like the opposing team, the weather, etc?

Oh we are talking about opposing defenses now? I thought the discussion was about how OUR defense improved with Jimmy starting.

I was merely addressing your point that the Bears were a horrendous team. They weren't.

Lol that's probably the second dumbest anti-Jimmy rhetoric pushed here and there was a lot of stupid takes.

Did you read the one recently where the guy says our defense would've been alot closer to middle-of-the-pack without Jimmy?

That's an all-timer right there.

Nearly the same defense (player wise) was far worse when other QBs who weren't as efficient as jimmy were playing. Idk if we would of been middle-of-the-pack but definitely not as good as we've seen. It's a team sport. Its just a fact that all three phases of the game impact each other. That goes for every team, not just jimmy lead ones.

if someone doesn't understand that then those folks just don't understand football.

Literally worst record in the league. Lmao so pretty much everyone but us (with one of the best rosters in the league) beat them. Trey (the entire offense - but that starts with Trey) didn't have a good game. It's not a big deal.

i don't understand people defending this? Why not dissect the film and be honest about the play overall. It wasn't good. It was an ugly ass game.

Go check the injury list in 2018 and 2020. We had a lot of players that were injured, not just Jimmy.
