yup, let us return to the Lance and Purdy threads, I am curious how TLs finger and BPs arm are doing

I really think Jimmy was under appreciated here. He had limitations but was still damn good. Just sucks he can't stay healthy, then again, none of our QBs can. Lol

i feel like he's going to have an awesome season and am excited for him, if he can stay healthy. It's cool he's in a different conference cause it makes it easier to root for him.

this poor guy is going to be in a wheelchair by the time he retires. Lol

f**k the raiders, hope he sucks.
I wonder if Kyle gets a % of Jimmy's contract since he did such a good job of making him look better than he actually is. Just kidding of course but Kyle did an excellent job of making JG a more than capable QB by avoiding his physical limitations like arm strength and mobility and emphasizing his quick release. Unfortunately he couldn't control the injuries.

look how hot he looks in black and silver though

Those colors fit him well. I was watching the show "Grimm" recently and the main character looks like he could be Jimmie's brother. Lol

It should be illegal for handsome people to wear black... black should be reserved for fat and uglies. #me
Did the Raiders know Jimmy needed this surgery prior to signing him? They should be pissed if they didn't. Though I don't know what other options were out there anyways. Still find it funny that they wanted an upgrade at QB and went from Carr to Jimmy.

"Nothing has happened that would surprise us based on the information we had. We don't play a game for 100 days. Everything that's happened since we signed Jimmy, we knew ahead of time. … Certainly had an awareness of all of it. Our preference is not to push it and rush anybody back at this point in time."

Hahaha that's how I used to feel when they were in the bay, idc about them anymore. Especially since they've been so insignificant.

i go to Vegas a few times a year for work and I've seen all the stuff they've built in the Henderson area etc. it's actually really nice facilities. Now that it's a different market, idc. Especially being in a different conference.

Same. I was really hoping Jimmy would go anywhere but Dallas, Pittsburgh or Vegas. If he did, I would wish him well. But since he did sign with one of those 3 teams, I will be actively rooting against him. I didnt want to, but I hate his team so I dont have a choice.

f**k the raiders. I hope Jimmy gets healthy so he can throw INTs with every single dropback. I can't wait to laugh at my Raider friends.

Yep. I've dropped thousands of dollars to go to every Niner game just to root against Jimmy.

The only thing that is underappreciated about Jimmy to me is his professionalism when dealing with the QB situation around here ever since Lance was drafted.
Never threw anyone under the bus, etc.
People who call him names are not doing themselves any favors.

As far as his actual performances, he is who he is - average Quarterback in the NFL, a starter who despite having many years in the league often plays like a rookie.

His numbers in the playoffs are not good and below even average QB play in late 2010s/early 2020. Worse than any Niner QB in playoffs over last forty years. Purdy - a rookie - matched his total TD production over 5 starts in just one game.

Two things he has shown -
1) That he is a lot better in Kyle Shanahan offense than Nick Mullens, CJ Beathard and Brian Hoyer...which isn't that much considering none of these guys are close to being starters anywhere, but I guess it's something.
2) That despite his mediocre play in crunch time, he was able to be a leader.
I don't think he'll make it through the season w/out being injured. He's their problem now.

I liked him when he was on our team - he was a B+ QB that had too many stupid interceptions.

Purdy played better than him by his 3rd game.

Wish him well unless they play us.

show the posts then..

you misinterpret Stidham as being 'in play' or an option, as excluding JG as an option
I was on record, they were both options

HA you most certainly did. Telling me Jarrett Stidham was gonna be signed and they should just draft someone.

Don't lie man. We debated it for like a month. at the very least own up when you wrong. Don't be chicken s**t about it…I'm not gonna go back months in some thread to find you blabbering on about it.
