they made some dramatic moves to get a new HC and new QBs and it has not worked out. it was working out better with jimmy tbh. pierce now unemployed, maybe he can join adams and they can watch as LA Rams are in the playoffs.

the size is what it is. teams make these moves, and we evaluate based on the outcome or the reality. raiders ditched jimmy and they didn't get better for doing so. they got worse.

Buts it's not zero sum. Teams fail for a myriad of reasons. Jimmy was playing terrible when he was benched, stands to reason him continuing to play terrible would have a similar impact on their record that the qb they benched him for had.

i'm just observing the facts. he wasn't lighting it up in vegas, but he was .500 at least the team was in his starts. this year they weren't even close to .500. safe to say, jimmy wasn't the issue. they have a lot of other issues also.

it's true. for example, i was saying brock can make all the throws. now after watching this season, i have changed my mind. NY was right on that one, and i have said that in the thread. also with Jimmy, now he did some good things, but i can say looking back it was probably a square peg in a round hole in SF. we are all about the run game, so get a QB who can compliment that, with downfield throws or a QB who runs himself. that's where i am at now. it's a changing league and i'm happy to modify my stance as the information changes.

Jimmy was clearly an issue or he wouldn't have been benched. Because there are more issues then JUST the QB doesn't mean he wasn't an issue.

Rams can't win games with Jimmy so clearly he's an issue for them right?
