When did I say Streets is better than an all pro? The f**k are you even talking about?
Maybe you should just argue with yourself.
Fact is, the 49ers chose Tim Rattay over Jeff Garcia. No amount of mental gymnastics will change that fact. Dennis Erickson preferred Tim Rattay. If he hadn't, they don't cut Garcia.
But Rattay outperformed Garcia filling in in 2003 and that was why Garcia was cut.
Hence, all the "but Jimmy sucked on the Raiders and is a backup now" arguments are silly coming from people who think Garcia was good.

First of all, 39 yards is not 50+.
Secondly, George Kittle is not Deebo Samuel.
Jimmy did a lot more than throw that ball in that game.

Why bring up "screenbo"? Deebo certainly isn't a route running machine but neither is a dude that washed out of the NFL in 5 years.
At least Deebo was an acutal playmaker.
Garcia was good. 3 ProBowls show that. Jimmys only way to a ProBowl is buying a ticket.

Like the underthrow that Sanders TD had to wait on to catch? But we are gonna blast Jeff's deep passing (which wasn't good but was about as accurate as Jimmys)
At least talk up Jimmys best game that year, AZ in Az.

You called Kittle overrated in his thread. Wasn't referring to Deebo.
When you add in the penalty it's 50 yards which won them the game.

As long as these Jimmy stans keep coming out the woodwork trying to argue he's better than guys with multiple pro bowls and hall of fame rings it could go on forever.

Screenbo and Streets don't even play the same position. That's how bad a route runner Screenbo is. He was moved to running back because he's literally the worst route runner in the history of professional football. Tai Streets, on the other hand, was an excellent route runner. He left after the 2003 season and got buried on the Lions' depth chart where Matt Millen's plethora of high draft pick receivers also had no chance, given how bad the QBing was.
Jimmy played better in 2019 than Garcia ever played. Objective fact. Vince Young made 2 Pro Bowls. Means nothing.

There was nothing underthrown about that ball. The safety was way out in front of Sanders when Jimmy let it go. Sanders wasn't open on the play. Truthfully, that ball shouldn't have been been thrown, a la Brock's completion to Aiyuk against Arizona last year, which also wasn't open.
I'm not blasting Garcia's deep ball. The problem with Garcia is he had horrid mechanics that screwed up the entire offense. People throw around the term, "one read quarterback." Garcia is what a "one read quarterback" is. When the first read wasn't open, he started jumping around and looking for the outlet, or he'd go into improv mode and receivers had to break off their routes. He was inaccurate to the flat and lacked timing and chemistry with his players. He had zero pocket presence.
Great backup. Game manager type.

No, I'd take Warner (before Belichick f**ked him up) over Jimmy.
The point is the claim made by GoreGoreGore or whatever that user's name is that Jimmy got worse and they got better is nonsense, and the argument that Jimmy ending up a backup means he sucks applies to them as well.
