He's so tuff tossing and handing the ball off.

How the f**k did we lose to KC that year in the Super Bowl?!!! Oh yea that's right. Someone decided that the way to end the game was to put it in Jimmy's hands instead of using our monster run game

Agreed, and Jimmy decided to throw instead of keeping my handoff highlights going !!!!

Does he even consider about others??

same unintelligent posting.. you have no idea what went on in the game lol

Um it was pretty obvious. But let me help you out.

"Our game plan was to put the ball in Jimmy's [Garoppolo] hands, I hate to say that," Ward told Armstead. "Our game plan was kind of like to put the ball in Jimmy's hands, but Kyle Shanahan was just calling run after run. For some reason in the fourth quarter, they just stopped running the ball, and we kind of took over a little bit. I don't want to say too much about it because I'm part of the organization now.

"Going into the game, we was extremely confident, but once y'all came out doing all that, what y'all was doing, we was like, 'Damn these boys kind of good,' know what I'm saying? We got to like man up and throw it up. That's kind of like what we did in the fourth quarter."

Go ahead. Spin your way out of this. Try not to trash Ward like you do to other 49ers players / coaches whenever you're defending Shanahan.

Like i said, you have no idea. lol

We have gone through this for years. These quotes don't tell you that they stuffed our run game, add in a penalty on another important drive and we ended up in 3rd and long a few times.. What are we supposed to run it more and from 3rd and long? GTFOH with that BS

If it weren't for Chris Jones batted balls, they would have been completed to Kittle wide open every time.. just got to give credit to Chris Jones

Yea. Charvarius Ward, NFL cornerback who played for both the Chiefs and 49ers, has no idea. 49ATT, couch potato and Shanahan enthusiast, knows the intricacies of Super Bowl play calling.
i remember when ppl took that put the ball in jimmy's hands as a knock, but it was the same gameplan vs brock. that's just basic football, shut down the run game, particularly with a great run HC like shanny.

Stafford is old, a loser and on the Average tier with Jimmy and Kirk. It would be a terrible move for the 49ers to laterally upgrade to a qb on the same tier who is a loser and older.

The Stafford Club is delusional.

Sure it is, definitely as much or more of an valuatiom than given by the person I replied to.
I evaluated his ability, mediocre.
His status as a winner or loser, loser.
His age, old.

Getting a Stafford or Cousins would be a mistake, they are not much better than JG if at all.

How can you not love our resident experts?

For faithful....

And this doesn't include a couple other posters. Including you, faithful. You've 100% said you rather have Jimmy.

First off 90% of these are from Woo. Second, I don't see anything saying JG is better than Stafford here except NCommand and I have no clue the context on that one. As to saying I'd rather have JG understand it's a notion of how much better is Stafford and does it justify the opportunity cost which we ultimately spent on Trey.

I mean the real question is would you rather have Trey or Stafford? Do you know how many Trey will win? This whole Matty S convo will look really dumb if Trey lights it up and is a Franchise Super Bowl winning QB. I mean I'd much rather have a franchise QB in his early 20s than one who is 34.

haha. Woo's suddenly became a stat guy.
How much better is Stafford then Jimmy?

The clear difference in a Sb championship.

This still doesn't prove anything other than you don't know what happened still.

I mean there are play by play records of what happened from a 20-10 lead to a 20-24 deficit. lol

No what happened was Kyle clearly went from wanting to pass the ball 8 times in the nfc title game to deciding to feature Jimmy down the stretch just because.

Jimmy G would've had 2 more rings if he had Andy Reid as his coach. Kyle limited his 2x Super Bowl Winning arm.
