It's probably because he's a pretty good offensive coordinator. Which we all know doesn't always translate to good head coach. But that's probably why.

Probably doesn't help that Admin went home during one of the more important work nights of the season for them leaving the coaching staff high and dry.

I don't know if I fully buy that story. They probably went home because they didn't want to give up draft picks for a short term rental QB. The FO is run by analytics folks, and saw the outcome of that trade similar to when Jackson gave up a 1st round and 2nd rounder for Carson Palmer to save his butt in Oakland.

He's a good OC, but a terrible HC.

Double fault...they were offering Cincy a 2nd & 3rd rd pick for McCarron...kinda shows they're desperate. I've heard conflicting stories about who did & didn't do what WRT submitting the trade to NFL. Ian Rapoport sez he didn't hear their FO screwed up...whatever, Lynch made the deal w/Pats to get Garrapolo. Both teams are winless, but we have a GM who's very active and trying very hard to improve his roster. I know many fans are disappointed in no wins...but that's going to change. With the most cap space and another dymanic draft, I see our team getting a lot better. The Browns seem hopeless.

This is good news for us. The Browns now will probably go QB with he first pick. Leaving a OT, DE or WR to fall to us in the top 3.

Didn't work out so well for him. Went to Arizona, douched it up, played scared and got ran out of the NFL altogether. That dude was the ultimate Captain Checkdown. He could complete passes on 1st, 2nd and 3rd down and you'd still be punting it on 4th down.
