Ahh, I missed this.

Yo thl, any chance you can make a gif of the Tank whiff? I'm just curious to see how he beat his man.

Kid has some gerth and loved seeing him chase Willow. Graded high. Hopefully with his help, we can free Buckner up a bit or at least, give him a breather.

He was active when he was in there. He's going to be a good player for us. I think he will be a Ian Williams type player/find for us.

Love those guys.
Sheldon Day is a natural fit in this scheme. Check out those sweet feet of his in space.

Think he will fit quite well in this defense

Knifing the B gap. Day simply needed to stay upright for the Aaron Donald-esque TFL.

Yeah atleast Jesus didnt throw a prayer for a 40 yard pass lol.
Watching Sheldon knife that gap is kind of sobering. People can try to downplay the importance of it all they want, but most traits are scheme specific. Most players are not scheme neutral. Defo will never be a gap-shooting 3 tech. That's not his forte. He's too damn big to be shooting and getting skinny through gaps. Same goes for Armstead. I wonder how many TFL Defo has compared to other 3t around the league.

True one-gap penetrating 3techs thrive on knifing and shooting gaps to make big plays. This is one of the pitfalls of drafting for a specific scheme and playing a different one later down the road. I hope Kyle and Lynch pick one and commit to it for the foreseeable future.

Just brought this up in Mitch thread.. If we stay in this D, no way Buck can play 1T?
