my guess is 2 y / 6 Mio.

I think it will be lower then that.

Don't think it will be lost than 2 year, 5 mill. 2 year 5.5 mill I can see being fair.

Here's a breakdown of it

Fair deal I'd say for a journeyman role player who needs another chance to prove his worth.

Yeah agreed, sounds like it's got a ton of incentives in it. Not a ton of risk. Good for both imo

That's a solid deal.
That's a decent contract for Marsh.
Bigger contract then I expected for him.

He's got a motor on him.
Nothing concrete yet, but this is my best guess.

$2m signing bonus
$300k yearly per game roster bonuses($18,750 a game, $281,250 counts in 2018 as he played in 15 games between us and the Pats)
$100k yearly workout bonuses

Cap number is either $2,481,250 or $3,481,250 for 2018 due to the difference between the NFLPA report the past few days
Cap number for 2019 should be $5.2M

yup, these are the type of contracts I hope we throw out there (obviously the better the player the more guaranteed money) ....a lot of incentive to play well.

so if i'm looking at this right it's pretty much a 1 yr deal unless he balls out?

That kind of money screams expectations....or that they see him as a possible starter. With Elvis still under contract I wonder if we even target a high dollar pass rusher in F/A or spend a high draft pick on one?

Yes and no. It is a friendly deal to player and team. If he balls out he makes max money. If he is pretty good they probably will keep him for year two for 3.5 million. Pass rushers are a premium. I am and have always been all for incentive based deals. If he crushes it he makes bank, if not he is stil set up for life
Too much money
