He thinks Jed is dumb enough (probably is) to believe whatever he says, then he'll pocket the leftover millions

As of right now, yes he could be. Hopefully he ends up being a back-up and I think he would make a real good, valuable and versatile back-up/ST's player.
I heard somewhere that the coaching staff is going to try Eli Harold at the LEO spot in the off-season...

I think he is the best Sam on our roster. Marsh > Harold
Possibly the best Leo on our roster as well.

Now that we have to address the ILB position (thanks Reuben) I dont see us being able to upgrade the Mike and the Sam and the Leo positions and still be able to get a corner and fix the oline.
Marsh might not "start" but he is going to play, and play a lot.

Agreed...snap counts are what fans should focus on esp. at edge rushers.
For instance, DeMarcus Lawrence had the most of this FA group barely going over 700. Most are in the 400-500 range.
Imagine getting $15M to play 500 snaps a year. Epic.

Marsh played 308 snaps last year and was only here for 6 games... If this is any indication then he is going to play a ton.

He must have had some early down snaps too and not relegated to just 3rd downs. That's starter snaps for a modest contract. That puts it into perspective.
Good stuff! Thank you...
