If we had three stud pass rushers, would you trade one of them?
You know what amazes me- that everyone here thinks Belichick let go of a legit pass rusher and then trades for a washed up fat tackle. (Who a week ago many were arguing to be extended Lol)

Odds are Marsh is nothing special and Brown does fine, if not better in NE.

This guy is not our savior lol

When all you have to do is compete against Eli Harold and Jeremiah Attaochu, you're bound to hold a roster spot.

That ain't saying much
This guy is going to have an impact here and have a good, solid career. I think 5-6 sacks a strong ST's role and will be a fan favorite on defense. He will be our Chris Andersen
Managing a team is a lot more than just Xs and Os. Often it is building the confidence of a player that needs that to move to the next level. Hence, Kyle makes a comment about Marsh that is more for Marsh's benefit than the fans.

Does Kyle or Lynch think Marsh will blossom into another Von Miller? Of course not, however, if coaching and encouragement can get him to 6-8 sacks this season then to heck with what the fans think of the comment now. Support your player and deal with the heat if you are wrong. That's what a good coach does.

What in the world gives you that feeling? Solid career?

5-6sacks for this season or for the rest of his career with us?

Yall see what f**k Kyle's dumbass statement has done?

I can only imagine being a starter who has to compete to keep my job....knowing that Marsh (who hasn't done s**t in his career) is untouchable basically.

Ray is a flat liability in run defense. If you are willing to accept that for a 3rd down only guy who might be an improvement, then go for it.

Pretty good? There is "good"...then "pretty good"....then "Great".

So Marsh is close to great?

Enough to not have to draft competition?

We drafted a Olineman...replaced one of our best players... we drafted a WR, a postion where we have 3 good starters. We drafted a TWO Safeties (yes might be moved to cb)... when we have Colbert and Tartt... and one of those draft picks might not be playing this year.

How the can we not draft someone for our most important need???? Because Marsh is "Pretty good" f**k that that's b******t and idiotic to say from Kyle's arrogant ass.

Yes untouchable. When he starts doing the same s**t again this year.. yeah then Kyle will have no choice but to give others playing time.

The LEO concern is in my view overstated. Thomas is strong there in base downs. Unless we can eventually land a Chubb-level talent, we'd be signing a sub-package player, of which we already have a few. Such a player may be an upgrade from Marsh and Attaochu, maybe not.

Elite 3-down edges are hard to find.

This guy gets it. A lot of overreacting and negativity here. Oh wait, it's the Webzone.

I was impressed with Cassius last year. He did bring on the heat and he did cause a fumble or two. Between a sack and a fumble, I'll take a recovered fumble every time. I hope he progresses this year, specially with some teammates that can help him in Buckner and Solomon. Arik is in the mix too. As Lynch said, they didn't invest in an edge rusher because they believe in Cassius.

Let's get some gifs of all his sacks and QB pressures.

I just remember clear paths to the QBs.

Non stop complaining on this board since the draft. Wow, it's like being in elementary school again.

Rightfully so.

It's not just because of the draft...but also because our free agency signings.

We knew we didn't have a pass rusher who could get to the QB. (Besides Buckner)

We didn't go after anyone proven (FA or trade)

Many said wait for the Draft....ok understood... now after the draft we didn't get anyone...AND to downplay that, all the sudden Marsh and the current group is all we need.

Doesn't help when your head coach makes idiotic dumbass statements.

But if it makes you feel better Stud...here is some positive stuff.

Although I don't feel we needed Pettis (would rather have trade up for Landry)..I think he'll do great in Shanny's system along with Jimmy throwing it to him. Will make our offense more potent.

Also looking forward to seeing Warner show his athleticism and smarts...and looking forwad to seeing T. Moore out there.
