Playing for championships on an almost annual basis is not fun?

Lane Johnson said the same, Welker, Amendola, and a lot others. Ya, BB is a dick, it's not a fun environment, he treats it like a job, even though most players look at football as fun, what it should be. It's a game...it's not a job, when you think about it. Football players aren't dealing with building infrastructure, policing neighborhoods, or having to save lives. It's a game...not sure why that's so hard for some to understand lol.

Agree, and I'll just add that there is a cultural difference between the East Coast and the West Coast. I think the West Coast is more laid back and zen like, than the East Coast which is more puritanical work till you drop kind of environment. Not making a judgement on which culture is better, but rather making an observation that different people different strokes kind of thing. I think Cassius is more of a west coast guy than an east coast guy.

Most of the players work just as hard, and so do these teams (minus the Brows lol), the media makes it look like this team is more "blue collar" than the other, and the only time that is true it's with the Pats. You don't hear players who left the Steelers or Ravens or another successful North East team and complain about the work load and lack of "fun". BB has had success because of how he treats this game and his players, which is a communist work like environment lol. It produces results, but the workers are not happy...

i agree. Cassius isnt the first player to say that too. Remember Reggie Wayne quit right away. Said the environment sucked. No one was having fun.

I hope he is here to work, the fun part comes after they hand you a trophy. What was his wonderlick score. I wish he would talk less until he has won a starting position.

Um. It doesn't make you stupid to desire job satisfaction. That's not measured in pay or "awards".
It is ok not to like something, some place. My only complaint is he should have kept it to himself. 49ers and Pats have been pretty good to each other the last year or so. Never know when Kraft might make BB get rid of a premier pass rusher or something

Succeeding consistently at the highest level can be like that.

It's easy to be critical in hindsight, but I think most fans would be happy with the type of success the Pats have.

Every once in a while you strike gold like warriors did. Hard working but brotherly culture. But for long term success, I don't see how you succeed without a culture like the Pats had. Especially for football. There's just too many personalities to be able to sustain long term without it.

A big part of their success is Tom Brady.

Yea of course. But without a great coach, front office, and supporting cast.. you end up with a Brees/Saints situation. And Brady ain't even as good as brees in my point of view.or even Rodgers. 13 years or so and only one super bowl for a qb that id take over Brady any day.

I'll take Brady.

Yea I feel it. Either way. The point is that if Brady was on Green Bay or New Orleans over the other two, you're lucky if you win 2 or 3 ships. The supporting cast was a huge deal.

If Green Bay was in New England all those years then hoooooooly s**t.

Man, this dude sure does wear his heart up on his sleeve (quite much)... It wasn't "FUN" in New England.

No one here GAF about the Patsies, dude #GetOverIt

I sure hope he saves some of those emotions and all those tears for opposing QBs this year (at least 8 sacks)......
Lol so some s**t went down afterall.
