Good point. I'm undervaluing the later draft picks (Like Pita and D.J.Reed). I *hope* the coaching staff can develop these guys. I'd like nothing more than draft all pros and hall of fame players in the 5th through 7th rounds. Even better if we get them via undrafted free agency!

But you are right, that's a lot of draft capital going to the defense.
i think they want to build a solid defense with depth and leave the last piece to a ER ?

I doubt that. It just wasn't a good year for us with the ERs available. It happens. Every draft doesn't have the right player a team might need available when they pick.

i think we are speaking the same language or i was trying to get there.

Why waste a pick on someone you don't like, when you can add quality to somewhere else ?
Career year. Write it down.
I'm pretty sure Marsh and Armstead were invited and will be attending Von Miller's pass rush summit. Heard him talking about it on the radio. Both attended last year. Interesting for sure because this isn't something anyone can show up for. Lots of big names there too. Hopefully our guys get some good work in.

Got you. We were saying it differently. I just meant they didn't intentionally leave the ER out of the draft, but yes they took the best players they could for both starting and depth and punted ER to next year... Unless one of our guys steps up. And even then I bet we still draft an ER next year.

This dude talks too much for a guy with so little production. I sure hope he makes it because he's hugging the franchise pretty tight while smashing on the Patriots. I was always taught to not burn bridges you might have to cross again

From what he says, and doubled down on when asked, he hated it there so bad he thought of quitting football. Doubt he goes back there.
Happiness is a foundation for success, not a guaranteed. Let's go Marsh
Marsh > Reggie White

Good to know he's going the extra mile. Not that it surprises me though.

Obviously
If he commits to rushing the pass with the same intensity he does his ink, he will b a HOFer. Is there a more tatted guy in the NFL?
