This is a trick question--he is Eli.
Marsh is kind of like a motivated, but unjuiced Lynch. Basically, a try hard DL.
IIRC he originally committed to LSU to play OL. But, he eventually wanted to stay close to family and play DL.
If Lynch is gambling, maybe they try converting Marsh to OL. He entered college closer to 300 and went on the Armstead diet to play DE.

I love how self-aware this regime is about their deficiencies. That's something that Baalke was utterly oblivious to. Kyle was on KNBR and said they liked Marsh because he brings the speed that the DL is lacking.
