Yeah I think people really get deep into the coach talk stuff sometimes. At Meyer's intro speech he talked about the need to have a great staff in place and that's what Jacksonville would have...a great staff. So people tend to look for those household names when they hear that.

To Warhop's credit, he's managed to stay consistently employeed in the NFL for 25 years which is a clear indication that he's a capable coach. He's just not one of the household names in the league when it comes to the best oline coaches.

Pretty sure its the opposite. He was reportedly hitting the bottle pretty hard in 2008 and I guess that's how the 49ers wound up with Kentwan Balmer and Chilo Rachal as their first two picks.
