Oh it sucks. Keim was reliably mediocre after replacing another reliably mediocre guy in Graves. There's a chance they might end up hiring someone actually competent now. I still expect them to stay in house with someone like Adrian Wilson.

As long as they don't hire that GM the Titans fired

Interesting we've helped fire 2 HCs this past season.
I posted during the year Kliff would be gone I was told he wouldn't due to the contract however when has that ever stopped any team from firing
Another team that should be going after Sean Payton, the Cards. Payton seemed to like mobile qb with Taysum Hill, Russell Wilson, why not Kyler Murray. And Payton has HC experience that the Cards would like.
Sean Payton has his choice of teams. If Dallas gets booted, early in playoffs..he may have that too.

Let the raid of our coaching staff and front office begin.

Cards owners are notoriously cheap but Kliff's ineptness was too great for even Bidwill too ignore. He's going to be eating a whole lot of money on that contract.
Carolina, Arizona, Indianapolis, Houston, Denver all open - who knows if more coming.

Titans are after the 49ers FO:

  • Ran Carthon, 49ers director of player personnel
  • Adam Peters, 49ers assistant general manager

I don't buy the race thing. Why would they even hire him if it was about race? I think its just incompetence from the GM.

Not shocked with the Kliff firing. His boy Kyler didnt help him at all and now they are stuck with him.

For my part I feel it's an artificial measure that serves only as a divisive tool (useful for TPTB) as opposed to a real natural concept.

That said, whether I buy into it or not, the vast majority of our society buys into "race" the notion hook, line, and sinker.

For the Texans it was partially about keeping up appearances coming off of some bad looks for the NFL in general, "See everyone, we hired a black guy, the Texans are still cool." But they never gave Lovie Smith a real chance and more-so just set him up for failure with only one season. It was also about weathering the storm of a few bad seasons (with patsy head coaches: Romeo Crennel, David Culley, and Lovie Smith) and then hiring the guy you wanted all along: Josh McCown. ... Or they could be smart and hire a real head coach and give that guy a genuine opportunity to succeed.

Kliff Kingsbury is an example of a truly bad head coach who was given four seasons to show that he didn't suck and is an example which supports the narrative.

The 49ers need to name Adam Peters their new GM with the quickness.

Peters was among the finalist for the NYG GM job last year.
