Could be that LaFleaur wanted out due to the crappy QB situation rather than Saleh wanting him out.

The Jets could have the OROY and DROY this year. I think 90% of their problem was at QB. I don't think Saleh wanted him gone, it's either from above him or he himself wanted out.

Saw something suggesting that Lovie knew he was being fired after the game and that's why he played to win and went for two at the end of the game to screw them out if the first pick.
Doubt that's the reason since the players want to win no matter what, but it made me wonder.
