Worst case, Saleh gets let go. I'd welcome him back with open arms if Wilks gets hired as a HC somewhere in 2025.

I'd fire Wilks to make room for Saleh.

Probably wouldn't even tell him. Just change the key card and hope he takes the hint.

……. By a man who appears to know nothing about running organisations. Saleh made a mistake joining his team.

Saleh's coming home :).
49ers lost quite a bit this week
I totally get what you mean about the Coaching/Front Office Carousel. It's like a constant shuffle of personnel, right? It's fascinating how different teams approach their coaching and front office positions. By the way, I've been there with the whole can someone write my assignment for me situation. It can be overwhelming, but with some guidance, it gets easier! Keep pushing through!

Blows my mind. Any personnel people taken from KC? Any coaches hired?

They all have performed pretty badly outside of Doug Pederson

Not Purdy's OC for those wondering.

Ben Johnson will be the top pick of course. But I think Marcus Freeman will be getting a lot of interest too, love what he's done for Notre Dame.

Joseph, to me, is the prototype of a coordinator who does not have it to be a successful HC

Steve Spagnuolplo. Guy can't even get an interview in spite of having top tier championship defenses for years.

Because he's 11-41 as a head coach. That's a brutal reputation to overcome.

And he is exactly in the best possible spot for his reputation and career. I doubt Spagnuolo is itching to go elsewhere, soon.

A lot of things have to go right for any HC, more so a defensive-oriented HC to last long in the NFL. Mainly needs a legit FQB and OC.

He has earned tremendous respect from the league, so there is always the chance he will become a HC again.

But some coaches are great coordinators and lousy HCs.
