Did Kyle just stare at him? Yes.

Did the Head Coach eventually just give in (after not getting anything but an annoyed look)? Yes.

A simple "hold on real quick, I got this" or a "wait Mike, let me do this".. would have been a normal reaction. But instead it was a "your dumb ass doesn't deserve to be a Head Coach, let alone telling me how to run MY offense" type of look.

Just couldn't think of a better hire to support their number 1 pick QB. Could have easily gone with another defensive coach.

For a team that has really struggled on offense forever seemingly, you'd expect to see real improvement there. Personally, I would just want a high end offensive guy as HC in today's NFL.

Now we'll see if it will work.

He has a good situation in Chicago. His division is not as tough as 2024 would have you believe.

I'm sure hecan coach offense. What nobody knows can he coach a team. Different skill sets. Maybe he's one coordinator that can but we've seen many fail. He difinitely has his work cut out in trying to improve the O line. Not a lot of O line talent in this year's draft. Certainly no Sewell.

Bears job was by far the best job available. So much better then the Raiders job and it is not even close. A talented roster, that had a terrible year, due to coaching and QB play. Yes, you are banking on Fixing Caleb who looked awful. But if Caleb sucks, no one will blame Johnson because he sucked before. If it happens they just draft another QB and you are guaranteed a second chance at the same job. Unlike some of the other jobs that are QB needy who will have one attempt at getting it right. Plus, it is not looking like the greatest year to be swinging for the fences in the draft.
