Im surprised they're going for another Defensive coach, I thought they had said they wanted a offensive minded coach this time around. That being said getting 45 pts dropped on your last game isn't reassuring

Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn and Commanders assistant GM Lance Newark, both of whom interviewed in person today with the Jets, have left the team's training facility, per sources per Shefter.

No announcement on a deal.

Reports are that the Tampa Bay OC (Coen) has withdrawn his name from the Jacksonville HC position.

I am just as surprised. I thought they would be going for an offensive minded coach as well. Although, it's been said before and I'll say it again: Defenses wins championships. It is probably the reason why that KC will win a third straight trophy this year.

Pretty smart yet insanely stupid move by the Jags. They may have lost out on candidates and surely firing Baalke resets their whole search. Are they going to hire a coach and then hire a GM? If they hire a GM, it postpones their coaching search. Does Robert Saleh really want to be a part of that?
