Interesting with the Jags coaching search, I am glad they are hiring him as it benefits us. He had a great year in Tampa, but it's literally only one year of success (at the pro level) and he is getting Ben Johnson money and gets to pick his GM. Not saying it's the wrong move, but wow. They are seriously trying to give Trevor Lawrence the best chance at real success.

Pete Carroll is a good hire for the Raiders. Age is only a number. What they really need is to find their franchise QB or this will be for naught.

Shockingly, the Raiders have signed Spytek as GM when, had they waited a little while they could have signed Baalke. Trent is ideally suited for them.

My guess is that he is there to set up the right culture, hire a coordinator that will be his heir and retire when his contract is up.
