Gus Bradley, Ken Norton, Kris Richard and Darrell Bevell. Put the whole band back together.

I'd even say that it was likely to happen.

The DeMeco Ryans apprenticeship program under Saleh would be hard to pass up

You know the 49ers want a successor in house to learn and then replace Saleh if he leaves to be a HC again

Wright has strong ties to Pete and the Raiders.. and IMO Demeco is better than Saleh,, so i don't see out of the ordinary tutelage

Pete just put Marshawn in a tough spot. His favorite team hired the dude who didn't give it to him at the 1 yard line for the Super Bowl.
Pete is great for the game. I have a lot of respect for Pete. if you look at the division, pete carroll, jim harbaugh, andy reid, sean payton. that's 4 HOF type coaches. and the harbaugh carroll rivalry restored. wow.

You can't ignore the fact that Pete wasn't great in his first HC job and his team regressed a lot once Wilson started decling and he lost all his great defensive players. Did Pete just hit the jackpot with those defensive guys leading the way? Can he repeatthat success in the AFC West? I doubt it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sam Darnold reunites with Pete at this point. I'm not sure if any QB in this draft screams "can't miss" player, so a guy like Sam to bridge two or three years could make some sense.

so Sam goes through what he did in Minn.. Raiders will draft a QB, not sure when but they will

Then pete will do the Matt Flynn switcheroo

It is hard. We saw Jon Gruden take a team built by the previous coach to SB win. After that he did nothing. We saw Seifert take the Niners to a couple SB wins with a team built by Walsh and Eddie Ds checkbook. Then he went to Carolina and did nothing.

I'm not saying Pete is a bad coach but having success in one place and trtying to repeat it somewhere else isn't easy. Harbugh has done it. Andy Reid ha sdone it. Bill Parcells did it. Sean Peyton is trying in Denver. Others have failed once their franchise QB was gone.

in fairness pete won 34 straight in college. he built 2 dynasties if you count the college game.

True but USC was the pro team in LA back then. They owned the PAC 12 and were able to recruit unlimited talent. We know that they or their boosters were illegally paying some of them. Remember he left for Seattle about the time the investigation into payoffs was hitting.
